Yeah I saw your review of this hotel in the Starwood forum over the weekend and decided it would be a safe bet. I was looking for something not too far out at a reasonable price, but wasn't really wanting to fork over $400+ for two nights in the Galleria/Uptown, Medical Center, or Downtown areas. The price here was great, and with the multiple promos Starwood is running, it's an even sweeter deal.

Barry Mullet Melrose. Does he still have the mullet?

Indeed, as well as questionable taste in suits.

I'd try it but I'm not willing to drive all the way out to the 'burbs to get one. It's bad enough I'm sleeping outside the 610 loop tonight. Do you realize how many years it's been that I've done that when I've been in Houston? I'm within a few feet of being outside the beltway! The horror! :p

You could go to one and get outside of the "outer loop", aka, Highway 6 by visiting the one over near West Oaks Mall.

They're moving the team to ABQ!!!

I'm doing the math and even after my next few flights (one r/t in F and one in Y, so both 150% EQMs) I will only have 20,000 EQMs.

I do have IAH-LAS-IAH and possibly a IAH-PDX-SEA-IAH trip so I may squeak by with Silver.

yay.

I finally get to sit in Row 16 on a 752! Yeah! 16F to be exact. Unfortunately, no AVOD; but I have catch up with some reading anyways.

No, he got rid of the mullet a few years ago and the beard got shaved around the time that heavy job speculation started. My mother is even willing to forgive the fact that he likes to put ketchup on his french toast.

I got to skate on the ice of the Big Boys. Not many can claim that.

No, and yes. It's cool to skate on an NHL sheet, no doubt. I am jealous of nothing attached to Philly sports...ugh. Can't stand any of them. Despite your choice of teams, you're still a decent human being. :)

LOL. His suits from when he was coaching in Canada and LAX are for the most part wacky, admittedly. Hopefully he'll keep using his ESPN wardrobe behind the bench in TPA. Recently it hasn't been that bad.

ARGH. I went from numero uno on the upgrade standby list for my flight today to number 4.

At least I get to rock 12A on my RJ. Pseudo first class(less).

ConciergeMike Jun 26, 2008 8:17 am

I have an RJ flight in September, and I gotta get exit rows. Lucky for me the PHL-CLE first of the day is usually pretty light on anyone, let alone elites. I can usually go on at 24 hours and snag row 12.

colpuck Jun 26, 2008 8:35 am

For RJ's you haven't rolled until you've rolled in 9A on a 135.

I have yet to fly a 135 and for some sick reason, I have been hoping to find a chance to fly one before CO retires them from the fleet.

ConciergeMike Jun 26, 2008 8:40 am

145 is plenty tiny for me - next on my list is a Q400...maybe if the hockey trip goes to the right place.
