On the count of three everyone sing the theme to Green Acres.

1, 2, 3.
Green acres is the place to be
Farm living is the life for me
Land spreading out,
so far and wide
Keep Manhattan,
just give me that countryside.

New York
is where I'd rather stay
I get allergic smelling hay
I just adore a penthouse view
Darling, I love you,
but give me Park Avenue

Just saw on the news that a hotel in HKG was quarantined. Hope that baglady and her boytoy were not included in the roundup.

I think baglady is already in the US, and Plus1 should be in the air if I remember the casual reading I did earlier today of their posts.

I think you missed it, they are already back in EWR, at least she is.

I just found out a long lost friend from high school is a pilot for B6. I have to ask him if he flies into HOU at all.

I believe Plus 1 has been home for a bit now. Baglady should be in the air as we speak on her final leg home form EWR.

I also have a friend from high school that is a pilot for UA. I always make sure that he is not part of my crew when I fly UA. :D

That sounds like it has some interesting backstory.

Drag racing in the streets. Siphoning gas at 3am and going water skiing.
Just the normal teenage stuff.

Actually he is a nice guy but I just never thought of him as being serious about anything let alone flying. Last time I saw him he was a 1st officer on a DC-10, so he must be a captain by now.

While the pilots were great, the FAs were . They seemed rushed and then almost that we were an inconvience to them. Things got better by the cheese course, and by that point, I didn't care. I slept post dinner to breakfast and had a great seatmate (not as great as Plus1, but pretty great). My seat wasn't working, but the FA was able to get it in a position that was comfortable - I just had to stay that way. From when the first bag came off our flight to when mine arrived - over 45 mins :td:. Hoped to make the 7 p.m. flight - was told it was delayed to 8 - thought why would I do that when I have an 8:15 and it would have been coach - F was full. Stupid, stupid me! So now I spend my hours catching up on email, now catching up on the box and enjoying the spoils of the P Club.

Sounds like you has a  day.

Anyone know of any great mileage run fares out of NYC? The s/o is about 8K away from gold and I am determined to seal the deal on that because the 100% bonus miles are going to come in very handy next year.

I am looking to take the MR MAY 30, 31 or JUN 13, 14. A same day turn would be preferred, but for the right price/miles I would consider a redeye. I am trying to obviously keep this as cheap as possible. I have found LGA-IAH-SNA for $266 a/I which would give the 8K needed with the DEQM's, but I think there is better out there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh, and anywhere in Mexico is out of the questions. That has been banned.

Driving back out to IAH in about an hour or so to pick up Baglady. Rain in EWR made her late.

Met Hartmann in the EWR P-Club on his way to FRA. Well met.
