I haven't seen a 310 in years. I think most 300's are now freighters. And all the -600 version.

Thanks for sharing your shots, Mike. +1 on the US A330. That's one bird I'd like to shoot myself.

My interview is over, so it's off to the beach I go before my flight back to EWR. Have fun at work suckers! :p :D |
That's exactly what I said about the fence...not really much you can do, unless you get yourself above it. But I'm in no hurry to lug a stepladder out there...if I had a truck, maybe. I'll post the link in TP later today, I gotta run out now.
Thanks to all for reassuring the first-timer. |
Re: shoot, yeah I know. Photograph the plane, of course I meant. :D
It is possible to shoot through the holes in a chainlink fence. You have to put your lens right up on it. |

So I am doing the ATL-POS run next weekend. Are there any cheap, clean, hotels near the airport or should I plan to party like a rockstar in the airport all night long?
Suggestions for 1 night in POS? |

Yes, you can shoot through the fence, if you use a large enough aperture. Here's one at CAE I took of our CRJ. Through a fence with f1.8.

sorry to cut in with the plane hunting/spotting/shooting :p
Just found out I'm going to Viet Nam on Sat (not sure where in Viet Nam) and yes, I know there is a Viet Nam board but since y'all are having so much fun - any suggestions on best/cheapest full eqms (mm status at stake and all) at the front of the bus. I'm guessing I'm going to end up flying EVA; though KE may be an option. I haven't even started looking - I figured I may want to find out where I'm going first. I have to be in LA by next Sat and I'm going to miss the Cure Mon night :( I am 0 for 3 for 80s bands (all great seats of course). Thanks |

KE does earn 150% EQM in J. Or fly CO to HKG, and then connect, though CO99 arrives HKG late, so you probably have to overnight there. Or go the other way and fly AF. |
