440K is what it takes for two RTW J tix. So, 60K of that is gravy.

I guess you can do NRT in Y if you want to with the remainder. :td::td::p

I think it's a violation of the FT terms and conditions for posting if I posted what mine says about that.

The better way to look at that 60K gravy is "60% of the way to my next IAH-Europe BusinessFirst award."

I think I hear Den Haag beckoning.

Hmmm.... three complimentary cocktails from the Embassy Suites bar down. Should I go for four? Or call it a night and go back to the room? Reception is open for another hour...

You're just ahead of me at 402K. I thought I was maybe a bit more, as I have ~525K in my Flight Memory, but knowing that a lot of that was UA this year and also a bunch of pre-OnePass collecting I guess I'm not all that surprised.

I'm looking at probably 2013 at the earliest for making 1MM unless things change dramatically in my travel patterns.

Chug! Chug!

Do bears ________ in the woods?

I'll check the preview site at the end of tomorrow and see just how crappy low my number is.

On a completely unrelated note, while ssullivan is debating cocktails, I'm debating sushi. I know I want yellowtail, and I could go for salmon of some kind...spicy tuna maybe?

Not that I want CO to do any sort of recount, but my total life-to-date flight miles are just under 471,000. I know I've flown CO and its partners for the vast majority of that, but I've got a lot of miles on other airlines. I guess the 150% EQM bonuses on some flights have helped a bunch, especially on a couple of 150% EQM runs I've had on IAH-Europe.

Mmmm Sushi. Too bad there's none of that in Lubbock that I would touch with a 20 foot pole. But if you're ever in Atlanta and like sushi, especially in crazy, but delicious combinations, check out Ru San's. Good stuff. We just had our monthly fix there Saturday night.

Thanks. Somehow I knew the answer in The Box would be "drink up!" After all, the client dumped every nit-picking frustration they have with our software on me in the last two hours of the afternoon, so why not? And it's Lubbock. What else is there to do besides drink?

It is also crazy cheap.

Yep, especially if you hit the Sunday lunch buffet. Depending on what you order it can be a little pricier at other times. Our bill Saturday evening was about $65 for two people. Not bad, considering we ordered four of the specialty rolls that are $6-12 each, plus a couple of drinks, and a few of the less expensive rolls that price out in the $1-2 range.

And the Edgewood location is within walking distance of our loft.
