I used to find agents much more willing and empowered. Lately it seems that isn't the case, particularly in the hubs and phones. Outstations are different. The manager in SAN called me a few times to rebook me onto other flights when my original flight was delayed. I could never expect something like that from EWR or the call centers. Sure United's biz model is a bit skewed, but when removing the factor of their flaws, they do handle ops very well and they do treat their 1Ks wonderfully. Having been both a Prem and Prem Exec, i know it's not as nice, but it's not terrible either. I give CO lots of credit for listening but I get upset that they resist any solution or request that is outside of their plan. It's one thing to admit you're bad at something and it's another to actually do something about it. My experiences have been recent on CO. Either I'm very lucky or very flagged. And it's not THAT consistant that I think I'm very flagged. |

I'll be in the EWR PC tomorrow (3/30) - the one near gate 83 - from 10am tomorrow until about 11:30. Anyone else be around? Anyone need guesting in?

And I'm out of the March Madness pool. I had Oklahoma picked to win so I am out. The good news is Plus1 has gone up quite a bit as he has NC and UConn picked in the Final 4 and his Final 2 so best of luck to him (the best he can finish is third, but that would still net him some $). BL JR did finish dead last which does get her $ as well.
