Actually, I've become so internet dependent that I'm in trouble anywhere without a real computer to look things up. :)

I certainly am if I go in to the situation completely unprepared like this weekend. I was rather concerned when I got here and realized that my BB8830 "world phone" apparently doesn't include Panama as part of the world. A call to VZW support (thanks to Skype) confirmed that it doesn't work on their frequencies. So much for that plan. Fortunately, between free access in the hotel and fozz having a phone on the appropriate frequencies for Google Maps access while we are out of the hotel we've survived OK.

But if I know I am going somewhere out of touch I can prepare sufficiently to survive without internet access for several days. I may start to get the shakes and twitch not knowing if I have a new email message waiting, but I can be prepared for my destination OK.

OH CANADA!

As I was leaving for the gym the Canuck said "I'm going to run out to the store and grab some stuff for dinner."

I get home - standing rib roast.:rolleyes::D

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.

I have the Acer wide-screen as well, without the disasters.

I would have added that (if I weren't driving from ATL).

My ancient 8700 worked too well in Panama - I had some surprises on the bill the next month.

I'd bet that CM knows that anthem by rote merely by his attendance at hockey games. :D

Mike what's the under/over on Tiger winning this tournament?
