Today's 8804 is 2 hours late. Though I suppose the winds have something to do with that.

Overall Rating

0 of 5
Very Poor On-time:
Avg. Delay: 50%>
91 min
FlightStats Rating is a merit measurement considering both on-time performance and delay severity. The score, 0, shows that this flight has on-time performance characteristics better than 0% of all other flights in the FlightStats database.

On-time Performance

0.0 of 5
Very Poor On-time: 50%
This flight has an on-time performance of 50%. Statistically, when controlling for sample size, this flight has on-time performance characteristics better than 0% of other flights.

Delay Performance

0.0 of 5
Very Poor Avg. Delay: 91 min
This flight has an average delay of 91.0 minutes with a standard deviation of 85.51 minutes. Statistically, when controlling for sample size, standard deviation, and mean, this flight has delay performance characteristics better than 0% of other flights.
The interesting thing in those stats is that the standard deviation is only 5 minutes short of the average. That is a crazy statistical sample. And 8800 and 8802 aren't all that much better. I actually like that the standard deviation on 8800 is wider than the average delay. I didn't know that was actually possible; maybe I'll have to go back to take another stats class.

I feel the same, yet I'm stuck actively working in the office and seriously pondering opening my own assessment firm.

All in all a good trip to the mail box today:

1 - CHeck from Pebble Beach consulting job came in today (8 days after the event) :)

2 - Gift card from Pappadeauxs at IAH terminal due to some issues with service staff and cleaniness.

3 - W2 from university I stopped working at in 2007 and already submitted tax return. Arent these suppose to get to us by Jan. 30th. Ah... maybe I didnt change addresses with them. :D

4 - Letter from Avis dropping out of the Avis First program due to low rentals but keeping Avis President's Club. Did get a $40 off a weekly rental coupon.

5 - A random paper receipt from CO for a flight I booked last week. Don't understand where these keep coming from.

6 - No elite credentials to date or replacement PC Card.

Besides the mail, nothing much else exciting today. I have a meeting tomorrow to finalize my consulting job here in SWO. :)

Does anyone in THE BOX plan on being in Vegas on 4/19?

Sounds like it - I should have a bunch of cash / rebates / etc. coming in the next few weeks, so that will be nice. My healthcare savings account payment did come via ACH this morning, so no reason to mail a receipt.

On the late W-2: according to BoA - from whom I'm still waiting for a brokerage consolidated 1099 - the economic recovery act changed the date to February 15.

Wasn't planning to be there but that date might be feasible.

I am trying to see if my "Miss Universe" friend can get me an extra VIP ticket to the pageant since another one of our friends bailed and that would leave me all by myself....I don't trust myself at an event like this alone.:D

You don't trust yourself or your fiance doesn't? ;) Poor thing - all by yourself at the "Miss Universe" pageant :D

They only have to be mailed by January 31. They don't have to be delivered by the end of January. And if you didn't leave the new address with them, then it was likely delayed by the post office.

Even if you stopped working there in 2007, if your last check was received after January 1, 2008, it counts as 2008 income, not 2007 income. The IRS's constructive receipt rules state that it's when the money is received, not when it's earned, that counts.

She probably trusts me more than I trust myself.

ETA: I asked her if she wanted to come but she is student teaching M-F and the pageant is on Sunday night.
