I didn't read the pre-released (and declared hoax) list of winners, did it match up?

Still not bad for a year of traveling.
For me, I'm taking routings to existing commitments - I serve on a board and am taking three segments each way BNA-WAS for the five meetings this year (e.g. "silver"). I then have some work-related travel and personal events (like CO Do IV, LAS, national conferences, e.g. "gold"). Then there's some strategic MRs that are really segment runs, like the 12-segment BNA-ORD RT (six segments each way) for $278. The end result is intended to be an average cost/segment under $30. Running 100% on upgrades thus far this year, so I'm not complaining. |

US Airways is apparently bringing back free drinks at the end of the week.

That would really suck if a list got leaked - it'd certainly cost PWC the auditing job.

Interesting contrast between CO and DL. We just now got our upgrades on Saturday's DL flight PBI-LGA. At 1130PM there were 9 FC seats for sale. After our upgrades there were 7. The coach cabin is nearly full. We had the $85 least expensive fare class. Does it seem likely that of over 100 coach passengers we were the only Platinums? On any CO flight PBI-EWR, it has always seemed to me that there are quite a few more than that because after the Platinum window, there is frequently nothing or almost nothing left up front.

I might have to do that for this year's travel ...

Use your previous FF statements and build as far back as you can - have fun with it if you're gonna do it.

In other news, I'm promising now that in the current Concorde thread, I will try my hardest to be a good boy and not crack tasteless French jokes. And I for once will follow a looser version of my personal rules of engagement: I will not fire unless fired upon. |

Think I'll focus on 2009 first - a few international trips, the eastern US covered with lines, then the lines to LAS ...
