Haha. Agreed. :o

Morning Box. I opted not to work from home this a.m. before my flights so I could come into the office to do some work on the secure server (which is much faster than patching in via the VPN).

Of course, the server is down.:rolleyes::mad:

I really should rip some videos to my Acer for my upcoming week of 40K EQMs. That is going to be way too much time in the air.

Kindle 2 orders are starting to show up as "shipped" on amazon tracking status. I'll get mine on Thursday. :D

I read this article and now Im a proud acer owner as well ^

Magic pixie dust should bring it back up.

For those interested, I am going to be LAS for Blog World Expo from Oct. 14-18.

I was looking at the Renaissance there and it's cheaper than the Courtyard, but then again, you have to pay $12.95 a day for internet

It's amazing to carry one of those in your bag vs. a 5-7lb. full size laptop. And the battery life is fantastic.^

Any idea when they plan to announce the 2009 speakers? I may be interested in attending.

Sign up for a Boingo trial account. Is maxes out at $30/month (I only pay $10) and is good at all the Marriott properties I've ever been at with paid access. Of course, as I learned at the Do, that only applies to the access in the room areas. For access in their meeting spaces the host of the even has to pay an outrageous fee to turn the system on.

Being a corporate drone I downsized from what I affectionately called the IBM "herniamatic 3000" to a T60, which is 5.2lbs. The difference was remarkable, and I'm still carrying around a Chinese cinder-block.

rolov, we're fresh out of pixie dust. I'm going to suggest we put the server in the freezer.

Status Confirmed: USAirways is run by a bunch of idiots.

(Not because they dropped the fee, but because they tried it to begin with.)

I used to only sit on the aisle. Now I don't mind the window so much. Better pictures from the window seat.

I face competing needs - shoulders are far broader than seat (so no middle) and a flight of more than an hour generally requires a trip to the lav (courtesy). Otherwise, the window is fine by me - I get more space and don't get walked into for an entire flight.

I continue to keep T-Mobile only because they don't charge me to tether the phone. While I would much prefer faster download speeds, I can download files while in the car (start download and then drive), at the airport, in hotels with abusive fees ...

I would expect them to announce sometime soon, probably right after SXSW.

Hasn't that been apparent for years?

It looks like it weighs more than Portia di Rossi.
