Yep, or where you parked at the airport. "Third floor row D...ugh..not there, that must have been last week."

Fortunately I usually park at an off-site lot that picks me up at the car and drops me back off at it. If I park at the airport, I've figured out at ATL that if I park on the very top level of the Terminal North garage, there's always tons of open space close to the escalators down to the terminal level, and it's easy to find the car, because you're always parked in the same general place.

At IAH I had the lost car issue once or twice in the massive A/B garage.

Like central Jersey is much better. Actually one person once told me boo hoo, you live 1 hour from NYC and one hour from Phllly. Most people in the world would kill to be in that position.

Um, just curious — are you using STW as the airport code for your current place of residence? Not to be too picky or anything, but Stillwater Regional is SWO. STW is Stavropol Shpakovskoye Airport, which is in Russia. ;)

It's kind of like all of my friends in college referring to Lubbock as "the L-B-K"

:p

I learned my lesson parking at EWR. When someone else was paying, I'd park in P4 on level P4. The main reason for level P4 was that it was usually empty enough when I'd get there I could park by the elevator. One day I came when it was real empty and went to P2 and parked right next to the elevator for a quick escape on my return. When I returned I went to level P4, wandered all over the place trying to find my car. Then after 5 minutes I remembered I parked on P2. Worse part was the elevator ride of shame back down to P2 with other people and them knowing I got off at the wronge level.

Well that is now a Quality Inn and with the recent enhancements in the number of hotel beds in STO (Thanks SSullivan) You now have many more options. The newest ones will be located near the new Super Walmart including a Marriot Residence Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and La Quinta Inn. Not that we needed more hotels here but they come. I almost feel back at home during the building boom of the early 2000s in LAS (I know I got that one right)!

Spent the morning finalizing my first revenue flights of the year. :o:o

Heading to SLC for a ski weekend. The couple we're going with just went on expedia and picked the cheapest flights on the days they wanted. I spent the better part of the last 2-3 days on Orbitz, expertflyer, CO, DL, UA websites agonizing over the optimal itinerary. They're really missing out on a lot of the fun of travel.

Sometimes I do feel like I am in Russia. Oh how I long to be back in LBB if that happens. It means having an airport 20 minutes from home and not having to drive like crazy to get to a flight!

The EWR parking garage and I are good friends.

My parking panic set-in when I was flying into LGA and had flown CO on the outbound out of the central terminal. For some reason I ended up on DL for the return. When I landed I had forgotten I had flown out on CO so I went to my usual DL lot area. When that turned up nothing I went over to the US spots I frequented. No dice.

I ended up calilng the LGA parking security and they did a search of my license plate to find out if my car had exited. That's when I noticed I entered the central garage and it dawned on me where my car was. @:-)

Has anyone frequented so many PANYNJ airports in such a short span that it won't let you enter the garage because their system thinks it read your plate wrong?:rolleyes::rolleyes:
