He also pulled out his stack of FF and Hotel cards bragging about his travels. I believe he's a FT'er as well but tried not to talk to much as it was the 5:40am flight.

I can sort of imagine a few reasons for carrying two laptops, but three phones is just absurd. Who would want to lug all that around, let alone be proud of it?

Shameless post padding, for shame. *looks around innocently*

Damn you...trying to move back ahead of me in the post counts. And with such obvious padding posts, no less. I'm just appalled.

I hadn't quite figured it out myself. Let me know if you figure it out.

The mention of a good office chair, brought this question to mind... (I apologize if this is too off topic - even for the Box)

Anyone have Herman Miller's Aeron chair? What do you think of it? I've sat in the standard Aeron chair (no lumbar support and few adjustments) several times for several hours and really liked it. I have not, however, sat in the Aeron with full adjustments and lumbar support. Is it worth the extra $200 or so?

I spend a lot of time at a desk each day and was thinking of inventing in a really nice chair with great comfort and support. If people have other suggestions on high-end office chairs, I'd be interested in hearing about those as well.

I have a Herman Miller Aeron chair with lumbar support and, after having had one without lumbar, would say that it is definitely worth the extra $200. You really have to take your time and adjust it perfectly in order to maintain the best posture. At one place I worked a couple of years ago, we had a doctor come in and adjust everyone's Aeron chairs to achieve perfect posture for everyone.

^ Thanks for the info! How well do they seem to hold up? If I'm going to drop that kind of money on a chair, I'd like to make sure it will last me a long time.

I think that they hold up fairly well, although I have never had a single chair for more than a year and a half, due to changing jobs and offices. The one I have now is about four months old. A few years ago, when I started work at a different job, I inherited a one year-old chair from a departing colleague, and I find my new chair to be no less comfortable or worn than the one year-old chair that I inherited.

Wow, Im not into chairs all that much but I had looked these up to see what was so special and it turns out everyone at my office has one of these (14 of us). Maybe my boss isnt as cheap as I thought. They are really nice but dont get them switched with other people as it will take days to get it to your liking. Note, a relative of his totally made over our office before I started and is some type of Ergonomics Engineer consultant and probably gets huge bulk discounts.
