It's near Cooperstown, IIRC. After that, or before, get some Brooks BBQ too.

If you're ever in Cooperstown, go to Sal's Pizza. Yum.

From US Gold last year to US Silver this year. I have only taken 3 segments on US, because of scheduling and pricing. Otherwise, all my travel is on CO. I just attempted to burn US miles on an award tix. PHL-Europe-TLV R/T all in C (or J, depends on your preference). The miles were never deducted. Aren't miles supposed to come out right away? I'm sure they'll audit my account and take the appropriate miles out eventually. Then again, with the way the airline is run... maybe not.

Ugh... What is a "legal" connection time from DOM - INT? Continental sold me a set of flights with a 27 minute connection. They're both in E terminal at IAH but is that really a "legal" amount of time? Guess I'll be standing in line getting my passport checked, good thing I'm in F.

As far as US is concerned, I flew them frequently when I was commuting to ROA (gotta love those Dash-8s). I love the CLT airport but US' operations are terrible. I had more cancellations and delays on them in a matter of months than I've ever had on CO.

I had a INT-DOM connection time of 55 minutes. It was enough considering I got into IAH USCIS in off hours.

I have another INT-DOM connection at EWR coming up, CO gave me 2:20 to make it in the middle of the afternoon.

Saison rocks. Best US version I've found yet, Victory a very close 2nd.

DOM-INT shouldn't be a problem at all, since it boards like a regular domestic flight anyways. And if they check your passport at the initial station they may not do it in IAH anyways. Of course, if the inbound is delayed or moved to a different terminal you're screwed, but 27 minutes E-E is possible.

That's what I figured. I just wasn't sure if the initial station does the passport check or what. On AA I always had my passport checked where I was originating, but on CO I've had it mixed.

Count me in.

If you already have a job at a firm and/or it was not a federal clerkship, then I can see why you would be willing to pass it up. That said, my clerkship changed my entire career for the better in a way that would be unable to duplicate if I tried to recreate it today.

I'm not an alcoholic; I'm a drunk. Alcoholics go to meetings.

Where are you seeing those? This page says they are still selecting the weekend specials.

I am off to the corn fields of Iowa (on NWA via the beautiful DSM ) this weekend anyway, so I wouldn't be able to take advantage of any good offers.
