Just got a call from the other half in DEN. Her (my step-) grandkids were in the subway fire in Chicago! They're okay, but it was a creosote fire, the cars were filling with smoke, and the conductor wouldn't open the doors because the smoke was worse outside the cars. They thought it was a terrorist attack, with the strange smell of the fumes. Scary. 19 in the hospital. Goes without saying, she's going to ORD first thing tomorrow AM.

It was a long week of work. Nothing like 2 hours of overtime, followed up with a rude email from a co-worker complaining about a very small amount of work being left for the next shift to complete. :rolleyes: |
I feel like a little kid again. It's only 8:30pm but I am going to bed for the night.
