I migrate to North Wildwood, NJ. Will watch my son sleep in both directions I'm sure. It is also a free beach and with a little walk free parking:p It's about 2:45 each way without traffic:rolleyes:

Not only are fares expensive these days but as variable as the wind. Bought a ticket for LGA one day for $400 and the next day bought a second one for the offspring and it was $340.
It bugs me when I pay for it, but when a client does, it is just the cost of business. It is one reason I like UA's Q fares which for the most part are refundable, yet not a license to steal that the CO B fare is.

:) That's more like the time required for the South Jersey shore. "Six hours" had you way down the coast.

Oh, now I get it. You are going to do a one day RT. That's more than I would bite off.

:D in TX we just drive right up to the ocean and enjoy getting stuck....some people have a highly profitable side business of towing people outta the sand!

I went to Daytona Beach once and found it most disturbing having to deal with vehicles in the way of the water. They would certainly get stuck to try the more inland route:rolleyes:

I really didn't like it either, but it is easy to have the beer and grill close. isn't that what counts? Especially in TX, you aren't going for the water! It is like a hottub of poopy sea water, that some people in the box make a little more....um yea we won't go there.

If I could take more time it would so be Aruba, the Bahamas, St. John, etc. etc. I'm in snorkeling withdrawal at the moment.

So for you it is not a game, more like a bad movie comedy.

That is not wrong, it is merely your take on the farce taking place (with horns blowing :td: ).

It can lean toward being comedic for me, sure. I get that the involvement of humans means that there will always be variation, and there is variation in every sport...baseball has the floating strike zone, hockey has conservative refs who raise their arm for nearly everything, football has liberal interpretations of pass interference, etc. But soccer's refs have proven, at least to me, that the human eye cannot be trusted and that a replay system is needed. But that won't happen. Futbol is the world's game, and there is too much political context for truly fair officiating to ever permeate the game.

As I wrote this, a Chilean was nailed with a yellow card for playacting. Wow; you don't say.

I told my son he is my sherpa which is his penance for making me carry him all over SF as a toddler and rendering my arm useless for nearly a day after a full flight back from HNL a long time ago.

Back to round two at work and another 2.5 hrs of teleconferences:rolleyes:

So since North Korea took that 7-0 beating, are they all going to, ahem, disappear?
