i'm still alive

Hey everyone,

I hate that I've been MIA from FT. I still haven't replaced my computer, and I'm a tad too impatient to use the iPhone for a forum. Anyway, to give a quick update, my roommate and I found someone to take over our lease. We got an apartment in Humble right across 1960 from IAH, which makes for great spotting. I won't be enjoying that for long though, as I am moving in with my girlfriend of one year in the next few weeks. For May and June, I took a desk job working in the Inflight department @ IAH. I found out rather quickly I belong in the air, or at least in a different corporate environment. It was a good learning experience, but I am ever so excited to fly again in July. Anyway, hope everyone is well, and to the regulars, I hope to see you guys soon on a plane or in the P-Club.

Cheers.

LS

Hey LS,

Glad to hear things are leveling off for you, and we can look forward to seeing you back in the air soon.

I sat next to an FA this morning on her way to EWR, and it was great to chat with her.

Howdy stranger. Good look with your upcoming moves.

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey;
Rye whiskey I cry;
If I don't get my whiskey, I surely will die.

Mine wasn't too bad but there was an increase - also saw an increase of $2.50 a month on my car insurance (almost 10%) ...

That's what they did at my place too until someone posted about the dumpster derby online and suddenly lots of educational places locally started getting litterally tons of donations!^

We can do that. A few things were donated to schools that people had contacts at, but we just don't have the people or now, the time to get that done. And I was a bit disappointed that one charity I contacted about a donation that was specifically for their clientele never got to me.:rolleyes:

$2.50 would be .002 of my insurance.

WWTBD - I like to support the establishments in my local community. The Shoney's and O'Charley's down the hill from me (both of which flooded) are now re-opened. Do I make a token stop at one / both?

I found it (upside down) because it was so awful and more like up $2.50/wk.

I've never heard of O'Charley's
