An original Apple, which I'm sure had Steve Wozniak's fingerprints on it, was discovered a few weeks ago in the warehouse. Our problem now is that there's not enough dumpster space available to dispose of all the stuff in the next week.

I have become very sleepy. I need to make it another hour here before I go home.

Nope, not a chance. It's really a sin all the stuff that is being thrown out or will be left behind.

Off to dog class.:-:

That's what they did at my place too until someone posted about the dumpster derby online and suddenly lots of educational places locally started getting litterally tons of donations!^

South Padre Island, south of the national seashore. Driving is also allowed on Mustang Island near Corpus Christi.

There are, or at least were pre-Ike, beaches on the Bolivar Peninsula that allowed cars.

Here in Houston the temperatures are also :rolleyes:. Saturday was 98, Sunday was 99. I wouldn't be surprised if today's high is 1:rolleyes::rolleyes:. degrees.

Hell is right. Waiting for the rental car bus this morning at IAH around 11:00 AM was miserable. Someone at HAS should be stoned for the unshaded and unsheltered waiting area at Terminal C.

Would take you up on it, but when I'm in places I don't really want to be I operate with surgical precision. In and out with not a minute more on the ground than I need to be.

You've heard of the Navy Seals? I'm a Solar Walrus. :-::-:

(Maybe next time. I need to get back to Austin in the worst way.)

Wow. This afternoon really dragged here in the office. Glad I made it.

59 min to go.

msv Jun 21, 2010 5:01 pm

Just spent 30 min hunting high and low for the homeowner's insurance bill. I know I didn't like it but I'm sure I didn't pitch it either:rolleyes:

No worries; I'm making it a goal to have/host quarterly events in/around AUS so that I can make more posts with slashes in them.
