That's not only appropriate, but it's something and someone to which many (almost half, likely ;)) of the guests can relate. As father of the bride (?), though, don't forget to welcome the in-laws. And end with a loving joke. It'll be remembered.

Sorry to hear it, msv. Enjoy the travel and take a load off. You deserve it.

Precisely - you have the right attitude for a stressful situation.

A319 is over by 4 - I have to go to the gate in about 20 minutes to investigate. ;)

The in-laws are his siblings only, remembrance would include his parents

Define loving joke

Very carefully. ;)

Trustguy was indeed intrigued when I made it at the Soccer DO at Olton Hall's house. It's really very simple, involving a little olive oil (I use peanut oil at home as Mrs. Mackie is allergic to olives), fresh cracked pepper, and Montreal Steak Seasoning.

And then, it's on the grill. It's all about timing and feel, knowing when to pull it off so that it is cooked medium; doing it that way ensures it remains incredibly moist and scrumtrulescent instead of overdone and dry.
