I'm status quo until Sep 24th and do have a very long severance period with full pay and benefits so I'm looking at a lot of travel coming up really soon:D Then I will decide what I want to be when I grow up:rolleyes:

Sorry to hear that. Good for the severance package but bad for the forced time off. Enjoy the well needed time off but don't let it be too long as it's hard getting back into the grind.

I've resumed my own personal soccer bar (minus the drinks, of course) in the living room of casa de tjtenor4's parents...

So how long should my wedding toast be?
and would it be wrong(or too much of a downer) to raise glasses, mention or a quite moment for those whom meant a lot to daughter but have passed(grandfather\uncle\great-uncle)

Elevation Burger

Just tried it for lunch here in south Florida (Coral Springs). Not going to go again. It's okay. Nothing great. I had an Elevation burger, fries, and a drink. Five Guys tastes better. Not only that, the size of the patties were a little on the small side. Mackieman, save your $ and eat elsewhere. No need to try 'em.

Brevity, above all else, should be cherished.

Or, you could go the humor route: "Here's to swimmin' with bow-legged women!"

Dually noted; thanks for taking one for the team.

msv, sorry to hear about the job. Glad to see you are looking at the bright side of this - lots o' travel! 35.5 years is a long time w/ one company. It's usually best to go out on your own terms, but it sounds like the terms you're getting are not too bad. More time for FT, right? ;)

I've been to weddings that had the toast to those that have passed. It wasn't dwelled apon but brought up as they were important people in one of their lives. Seemed appropriate to me. Just make sure to bring it back up and about the happy couple after that. Time wise? maybe 2 minutes (+ quiet moment)

Nothing like going out for drinks when the designated driver (who had 1 beer) stands at the passenger side of the car and I have to remind her that it is "her car".:rolleyes:
