Morning, Box.

+1 on not liking long commutes. I've got a 1-hour each way commute at the moment. On one hand, it's nice because I'm home every night, versus the 80% travel I had last year. On the other hand, it's 2 hours in a car each day, putting 75 miles on the odometer. (the plus side is that because it's not my actual office location, the company lets me expense the difference between my regular commute and this)

I just looked at my records - drove about 8500 miles between May 2009 and May 2010. I did the NJ-to-DC r/t a couple of times (400 mi), at least 5 trips to CT (250 mi), and lots of NYC and PHL trips. Everything else was just stuff around town/Princeton/etc. Not too bad.

In Tejas they 'ed at me. At the Westin St. Francis (amazing hotel) they :('ed at me. At the Hilton SFO last night they 'ed at me.

So. Over. Hilton.

I was one of those CrackBerry fiends during our trip to Boston. Long days, minimal staying-in-one-place/access to outlets, and lots of use of Google Maps. At one point I ducked into a restaurant and asked the girl at the front desk if I could leave my phone with her, charging, for 15 minutes (she was very nice).

Finally broke down before the bike trip and purchased a second battery. Well worth it.

I just crossed over 1 million lifetime AA miles! :-:

Today in History: In 1982, Blade Runner is release. It depicts a future where Schlitz and Atari are dominate corporations.

The one thing I do not like about AMEX is that I can not make multiple payments. At least with chase, I can drag and drop as many payments as I want.

Congrats Trustguy ^^^^^^

I still don't know how to reply to you directly, but this works I think. Yes, of course, the little GPS works. It shows me driving (and it's not where I have to figure out which direction I'm going unlike my little phone...which I think has some errors! lol The "where am I??" button most definitely works! I tested it out, of course. I would make a good tester-outter person on such devices. (Yes, I know that is a made up word)
I've only had it a very short while, but it's going to be my new bff!.
Yes, clean your home stat!, Please have some ice cream available...no nuts...oh and some chocolate. yes, that sounds good to me.

Use the button label qoute to respond directly!

As to ice cream... there is plenty near by for use to choice from. Will clear out freezer for ice cream space. Chocolate can be procurred as well. I will chill our favorite sparkling as well. Now to determine what to do?

You have to wait something like 72 hours for a payment to clear to AmEx IIRC. If you pay on their website, you can do another payment via bank push immediately.

Yes, that is very cool. A legendary House, in fact. If GS were an A380, Allen would be more of a Lear 25. Not the most modern way to do it, but stylish, elegant, and, if the trip needs a fuel stop, that's a good reason to have dinner with the governor. Also, historically imbued with a strong sense of apprenticeship; unless things have changed radically under the third generation, commute and life hassle reduction will be an important factor to your friend initially.

There's not much on the web on the firm, here's a link I had to an article. It's a bit old, but probably not too stale.

If he's single, advise him to stay away from the models and starlets in the Upper East side girl ghetto. They know what Allen & Co is, too. ;)

Tomorrow in History: In 2001, Publishers' Clearinghouse is forced to admit that you're not already a winner, in case you assumed otherwise.

Nice to see the OneWorld USA balance go up by 28,500 points. Have I ever mentioned I love Hyatt?

Congrats on the lifetime Gold ^

Seems fair to me. It was $100 for the judge at my wedding.
