G'morning, Box.

Big travel day here today. I get two new airlines (BA & BE) and my first ever domestic flights in the UK. I also was up at 4:30am DRINKING even though my alarm was set for 6. :(

Morning has come way too soon here as well,, howdy all

Well I did have a pint with breakfast, but that was closer to 730am. :p

Overheads on this SF3 are smaller than even an ER4.

And the FT luggage tags worked again this morning at ABZ.

Morning Box!

My EWR-CLE flight was delayed 4.5 hours last night. I finally got home around 12:30 :( But the new phone was waiting for me when I got home - so I had to spend some time setting it up :)

At last I have a nice quiet, sunny Friday at home! ^

Shiner Bock and I have rekindled the relationship after being introduced to each other by Mackieman at CO Do IV. I've also been known to have an Amstel Light in my hand. But my default choice will pretty much always be Ketel and cranberry, with a splash of club soda. Ketel screwdrivers make some appearances as well. If I'm not driving and/or have had a day that warrants it, it's a plain old margarita: up, no salt.

Morning, Box. Speaking of drinks, it is time to hunt and gather some coffee and Cheerios.

If its not too hot tomorrow we may make our way over to Astoria. Will you be at Bohemian or Studio Square?

mwg25 Jun 25, 2010 7:15 am

Good morning, all. tjtenor4 is off at work and his parents are both taking today off after getting back from their trip last night, so hopefully we can all entertain each other today. I assume they won't mind that I will be parked in front of the TV watching soccer for multiple hours (an activity which ranks a few thousand down the list of their preferred pastimes)... :p

Also, if they haven't planned something else for us to do, we're thinking of hitting this event tonight. I've never met any of the DC FT'ers - though at least one of the guests of honor will be a hometown Box regular!

I use cream and sugar here. Never tried Cheerios in there. Any good?

Morning, Box.

+1 on not liking long commutes. I've got a 1-hour each way commute at the moment. On one hand, it's nice because I'm home every night, versus the 80% travel I had last year. On the other hand, it's 2 hours in a car each day, putting 75 miles on the odometer. (the plus side is that because it's not my actual office location, the company lets me expense the difference between my regular commute and this)

My lack of caffeine made me walk right into that. :o

I do ~75 miles a day, about 35 minutes each way. When I worked in the casinos it was the same time but about 10 miles shorter. The cash tips and the potential of not having to pay for grad school makes the commute bearable.

If we come we will not be there until after 12. We must stop at BZ Grill for some greek food.

Apparently, CO has chosen not to respond to UA targeting its hubs with cheap Asia fares.
