Two interesting events in the last 24 hours:

1 - Friend that has been on a work visa from Signapore after graduating from US university was in the process of leaving the US. He has had an immigration lawyer for years as he has been working here to get citizenship. Long story short, job would not sponser so he had to leave job back in Feb. He was told he had 6 months originally. this week he gets a letter in the mail that he is now wanted on immigration concerns. That if he tried to leave the country he will be arrested for not leaving the country early enough!! On top of that, if he goes to a hearing he will be placed in custody while his case awaits hearing. This all for a guy that wants to get the hell outta the US. In the end tax payers will pay for this.

2 - For those in the BOX that dont like the Jersey Shore, you may find this interesting. The boys from the shore were asked to pose for the The Village Voice, they were placed on the cover and told about that but not told that is was the Pride Issue. Link.
