For the PPlus cardholders who also happen to be Hyatt folks, check your e-mail and spam folders.

Yes, I saw that -- I guess I am going to take advantage of some more A2s at the M'town Hyatt!;)

Could be worse. The Middle East and West Asia are having a record heatwave right now. Baghdad was 125 degrees yesterday (an all-time high for Iraq). A few days ago, MohenjuDaro, Pakistan was 128 degrees (all-time high for Asia).

Kidding aside, this is an example of one serious reason behind my silliness concerning Ecuador. Man vs. nature causal arguments beside the point, there are just too many 3 and 4 sigma days, and too many recent records in many parts of the world, hot and cold, around seasonal averages to believe nothing's happening to climate. A place with a close to constant sun angle and water temperature around the year might not seem such a stupid venue even in my lifetime.

I had to call on both of my NJ stays. Oddly, I also needed to call on both of my stays here in So Cal last weekend too.

Swakopmund, Namibia - 75 degrees year-round within about five miles of the Skeleton Coast, due to the cold-water upwelling from Antarctica that surfaces just offshore. English is widely spoken, and the terrain is spectacular. Hope you like sand:

A quote from the Box History Channel that expresses my day today; I spent much of the day following up e-mails from last week...

Just you wait -- should you choose to have children it will happen to you, whether you like it or not. Now, let me tell you about my kids. :o

My current favorite in this category is Bulleitt Bourbon. Runs about $24.

Thank you both. Now to see if the state stores carry either.

The :-:A RTW tool does not update itself up to the point of including CO.

I didn't notice CO's absence when using the online tool over the past couple of days, but now that you mention it... I wonder, though, if they don't have the proper availability; SQ doesn't always show up in searches either.

No work for me. My brother and I are getting to select the items out of my father's house that we want. Tomorrow will be the last time I am ever in the house where I grew up. Not sure how that will sit.
