You just beat me to that. I watched that just this morning. The prior evenings' Comedy Central news shows is what I mainly use HuffPo for. That, commentary and opinion, and body painted topless porn star soccer players.

Wonder if he heard about that from Comedy Central. They are not Comedy Centrist, that's for sure. Ref: Tough Crowd.

Jon Stewart is an unabashed Democrat. Which is why when he tears into the POTUS for ignoring Habeas Corpus, it's that much more notable.

Colbert is the one I really find funny. You know right where Stewart is coming from, and the material, while funny, is pretty much pipeline, with great comedic delivery.

Colbert is a great satirist, and it's sometimes hard to see where the line really is. But none of them are in the same league as Ali G was (Sasha Baron-Cohen, if I have that right. Borat, in any case)

Sure, but the point I'm trying to make is that Stewart tooling off on Obama is not likely to be well-received by teh head office.

I don't think Comedy Central has an agenda. They care about the ratings. Plus, CC is owned by Viacom, which seems to be relatively agnostic. Can't remember the last time TVLand pushed an agenda.

I think that's very true, and am sure that they noticed. They may not worry all that much about 4 million over 54 viewers who watch Fox, but they understand how viral Stewart's reach via social media is, among just the demog that they do worry about.

Not to mention the highly educated audiences that both teh Show and teh Report attract.

What's the deal with that horse's hooves? The front feet look like they have the kind of boots sometimes put on in the snow, but I have no clue what's going on hindquarters.

Looks like the horse's rear legs are just overlapping a little weird.

I think I need a third beer.

By the way, Mike, I wasn't dumping on you in the comment I made earlier about Scorsese. Long been amused by the glasses that aging Hollywood folks wear (think Martin Landau), and that picture just struck me as funny.

Not very good confirmation all around. Looks like if the rider (is that Baron-Cohen?) were to move forward at all, that nag would tip over nose first.
