I wasn't even paying attention to the date. Shame on me.

Since the card currently grants you CO Gold,

No it doesn't, unless you got a targeted promo. The card only grants a PC membership and EliteAcces by default.

And, as previously noted, the actual consummation of the merger is a ways off.

Yeah, I kinda built it in its final location. But, it isn't so heavy that I can't move it pretty easily, so I'm not worried about it. Why do you ask?

It could be -- I don't drink a lot of witbier, and haven't had Hoegaarden in years (since before UniBev bought into the North American market and started distributing it here). It always seems kind of fruity to me.

Copa was right about Shiner Hefeweizen being brewed with orange and lemon zest. I stand corrected. I don't normally associate German-style wheat beer with those kinds of infusions.

Which ones? I'm considering a compact P&S. I just got an email from Panasonic that has a new 'tough' Lumix P&S that looks neat but is pricey ($399 list, but $300 with my EPP discount). Waterproof to 10m, though. :-:

Thanks for the tips. Turns out that for the flights I need, especially on the return, US comes in only about $150 less, so they didn't have a problem with me taking the CO flight into JAX. They have some sort of vague rule about not having to take a connection if the direct is less than $300 more, but I've not been able to get a clear explanation of the rule.

I'll be staying at the Hilton near the University - no SPG properties in GNV.

Once you get off of I-10 and onto US 301 (that exit is just across an overpass and almost blind, so be careful that you don't miss it) you'll be on smaller highways until you pull in to Gainesville. Do not speed on those roads. Less the advice is not clear, DO NOT SPEED ON THOSE ROADS. Pay attention to the bright signs that say "speed limits strictly enforced" and other such warnings. You'll pass through some pretty Awesome™ towns along the way, including passing the Florida prison that houses death row for the state. They keep a big lighted cross on the water tower in that town.

Take University Ave across town and then a left on 34th street to get to the hotel. You'll be 20 minutes or so from the office depending on traffic in the morning. There are a bunch of restaurants and bars out on Archer Road near the hotel that should cover you for evening entertainment. Assuming it is still good, the Ale House out that way was always a good time and decent food. If you're looking for something specific food-wise let me know and I can probably get a recommendation.

Cool! Will be nice to have high status on 2 alliances :D.

And boo the Times Square looney. Firing Squad is too good for him. :D
