Hadn't heard this rumor. I would imagine such a rumor would induce apoplexy in quite a few people.

I will research it to see if the sources have any reliability and then get back to you on it if I think that they do.

Also, is anyone else other than the four of us doing the AUS Beer Festival? They've added about 10 more breweries in the last week.

sdm113:rolleyes: would be an ideal candidate, assuming he hasn't already said no.

Aye, and Hartmann if he isn't otherwise occupied.

Time to go home. Will send you a text if I hear back something soon from my cousin, Mackieman.

I think he may have already indicated nyet, but am not 100% on that.

It is nearing my appointed hour of departure as well.

I seem to recall that as well, but I too am not sure. I will start a thread in 2.0 this evening to earn support for this most noble of causes.

But for now, it's time to go home. :-:

Am thinking that the proposed EUA on reward tkts is gonna play havoc with the system, given that the other issues that belynch pointed out -- are still not functioning correctly!

I'm still a "maybe". If my wife isn't working, we may head to AUS for the weekend to attend. Unfortunately, we probably won't know her weekend rotation schedule for a few more weeks...

Looking at rental car promos for Footie Do, appears I'm intent on earning another WN RR ticket ...

And it would be nice to get clarification on where people who used miles to book in premium cabin, but didn't get it confirmed prior to waitlist expiring, fall in the hierarchy.

Actually in this case I agree with you. I would very much like them to make all companions eligible at the regular EUA window - easy to say as a top-tier; it would be worse were I not - or at least allow EUAs without splitting the PNR. I'd very much prefer to see those things fixed, most especially because I don't carry a CO CC.

As for your second point, I believe you are supposed to be PR1 at the airport as a displaced F passenger and there are some references to GG codes in the Plan B thread but I don't remember them off-hand.

I think the companion part will be a mess but otherwise it'll be fine. It is just another fare class to add into the EUA cycle - with a check for the CO CC status flag - so not really too big a deal on the systems side.

And between the time you get bumped off the waitlist and the time you arrive at the airport the cabin generally goes to .

I fail to understand why this must be done at the airport and why it can't be an automated process tied to check-in or something.

ETA: I think I'm on CO Insider's block list.

In any case, am not holding my breath for a EUA on a reward tkt -- already not counting on it w/a rev tkt!
