A passenger has his diamond medalion card on his bag

Apparently, he couldn't screen print an image of it on a t-shirt.

I just sent Jeff an email suggestion that we keep the CO livery and just slap the UA name in place of CO.

I'd like to see that, as well, but I suspect the bean-counters will compare fleet size, and relative cost of repainting aircraft.

Most of the UA planes need to be repainted anyways. If you're going to be repainting the whole fleet anyways, why not pick something new?

Depends who's in charge of that department post-merger. If it's someone from UA, we may have an assortment of liveries for the next decade or so. :D

Morning all
First, good news. 5 day upgrades in both directions for CLE-IAH Sun and Mon ^. First class Kenjet seat to AMA and back. So, if anyone wants into the PC Sunday afternoon in CLE or IAH, let me know. Same is true returning Mon PM.

Second. I have an upcoming trip on US. Can I as a Star Gold or CO Plat get any special seating requests filled? Should I even ask? And do I get my 500 EQM miles/1 segment on the flights even if they are less than 500 miles? (I am so looking foward to this trip :o)

I believe you can call US and preassign exit row seats.

Hi Trustguy!

going to the "Special Person's Tea" at school now. 2nd graders choose a "special" person to honor with a Tea Party and the Class Moms help out. My little one chose her big sister (special person can't be Mom or Dad - they have a separate party for Mom and Dad another day).

I shall be serving tropical fruits - with a smile on my face!
Be back later!

Yep. Only 12 F seats (instead of the 16 on the other -9s), and the lavs were only in the back. Just one exit row as well. They were essentially the 1960s equivalent of today's E70/E75.

There's also the cost of gas and tolls too.

I guess since the majority of the time I'm at EWR, I'm headed into NYC, so it's just never seemed like the fares were all that expensive.

The off peak rail fares are going up around 48% system wide. Don't know what the EWR-NYP trip is jumping

Didn't NW have DC9-10s at some point? I seem to recall flying on several of them and seeing them at various airports.

Crappy aircraft. I flew one once when the old Rebulic had them and back then the support arms for the seat back trays were made of wood. They were all chipped and everything.

Using CO's font and color? Font is very simular to UA's last livery.

Brit,

I was just down in our company store and discovered that I can now buy UK-import Cadbury products. ^

Not a super bargain quite yet - 230g Dairy Milk for $5.30, 53g Starbar for $1.35.
