ETA: Beaten to the punch by Copa

That's bizarro. It has to be booked in conjunction with a CO flight into CDG? So I guess flying Lufty into MRS and connecting to the TGV will net me a  egg.

Also, I looked at the overheads in the front of coach when I boarded, and there was plenty of room for tje bags that were being checked. None of the bags I saw being checked were oversized.

More shenanigans in our nation's capital.

My silo of homemade is proceeding nicely. 250pp wedding tonight, so I'm going to need all the caffeine I can get early in the day.

I think only if they are obviously too large. Never actually seen them do it though.

I find the DCA station to have the "roguest" agents in the system.

I was on a CoCo flight a few months ago into DCA that enforced the stay seated policy for the duration of the flight. When I disembarked I asked the GA if I was either on a time machine to 2003 or if this was new and they told me "flight crews can do whatever they want" and that I needed to stop asking these types of questions or they'd have to call security.

While that might be somewhat true, citing outdated federal law as current is probably outside their realm.

If I had nothing to do that day, I would have welcomed them to call security.

Does US still do the old HP nonstop JFK - LAS? If your friend is a "kettle" then surely this is the way to go. :-::-:

I would not do that to her. She has no desire to depart from a foreign airport such as JFK. Her first and only choice would be EWR. I might be able to talk her into LGA, but that is a stretch

It does not have to be CO. She is open to anything I suggest for her. She has called for a strict one connection limit, but is willing to make a west coast connection for the right price :-:

Use the B6 price as a benchmark. Chances are CO will eventually match it.

Soemone needs a reality check

I don't live close enough for it to be a consideration, but JFK for domestic flights just seems nuts to me. The last time I did that, I had no say in it...I was 3 years old and World Airways still did scheduled service.

I don't want to know how many posts I've missed while at this conference.

Speaking of "not fixing stupid". Here's the one-step guide to getting your tour bus towed in Cambridge.

1. Park and abandon your tour bus in a clearly-marked area "Tow Away Zone: No Parking Any Time" directly in front of the MIT Police Building.

My current Hyatt Summerfield Suites experience is much better than my sole previous one (during CO Do IV) - hopefully the Houston Galleria one was an outlier.

Not fighting stupid is akin to allowing it.

Morning, Box.

Currently sitting in the ORD cellphone lot waiting to pick up my brother-in-law and wife. Hooray for netbooks and 3G data cards.
