I'm in MEX flying one of the $243 dfw-mex-eze MX fares from last year. I'm in the AA lounge on a day pass as there is no more PC here :( I opened the wallet for the day pass as the AA is slightly cooler than the airport itself...which is a sweltering 80 degrees at least....and I'm here six hours and wasn't going to deal with that. Does anyone know whether they ever plan to have a PC here again? The AA lounge is okay.. there is an RCC here but it is reported to be :rolleyes: |

Split didn't work with the | because split takes a regular expression and | is used as logical or. You would have needed to escape it to use it as a character, e.g.: myString.split("\\|"); / doesn't mean anything in regex so it works fine.
This makes so much more sense now. I didn't realize that the | was an escaped character in the regex. I have been using the regex feature that java split permits so it makes sense now. The variable doesn't exist anywhere else so it isn't that. And I don't really care. The switch function is getting me around it quickly enough and I'm about 90% finished with the little applet now. I've got an Android app for the Amadeus time table search. I'm still debugging some quirks with multi-segment itineraries and getting the results pane to be scrollable but the data parsing is working really well. |

Dinner complete. I made steaks, Mackie's Slightly Famous Taters, and Mrs. Mackie was kind enough to make a salad. Easy peasy, and quite good. :-:
