You and I are somewhat in the same boat. My wife has a 4 door Civic and I have a Subaru wagon, oh.. and a 2 seat convertible. We only have one child... for now. Both cars are cramped w/ the car seat installed. We are going to go as long as we can w/ both cars.

this is weird: how can there be vast larger numbers of "available" seats than there are seats existing on an aircraft? The Saab340 from CLL-IAH has 34 seats. Available inventory on 5/15 is as follows:

You should not sum the fare buckets. All I can tell is that 9+ seats are available for sale on each flight, except CO 9502.

ooohhhhhhhhhhh, so THAT'S how it works... I thought the numbers represented the number of available seats currently existing in each fare class :confused:

Just to keep the story straight- GSO is Greensboro-the actual diversion airport
PTI-is Greenville NC, about 3 hours from GSO

Airlines will only post 9 seats per fare bucket. This means that there are quite a number of seats available to buy. Once that number goes down to under 9 (In any fare bucket) that tells you seat inventory is getting very low. Seeing 0's across the board means the flight is pretty much sold out and perhaps overbooked.

....... or having a 3.5 hour mid-con flight on an RJ. :-:

I wonder if someone wrote, "this flight is da bomb" and the FA doesn't speak teen and panicked.
