! I actually like IAD, although I rarely need to connect there given that I live in DC. Concourse B is very spacious and never overly crowded. Concourses C and D are jokes, but they will be gone in a few years and in the meantime, one may seek refuge in one of the RCCs. Also, the newly-opened Aerotrain has made traversing the airport a lot easier.
I'll believe a new Concourse C/D complex at IAD when I see it. Not getting my hopes up that it's going to happen anytime soon. I am looking forward to the new train in a couple of weeks. And it's nice that it will no longer be a connection airport for me. |

WWTBD: LH just opened up F space on IAD-FRA tomorrow. Should I sacrifice the BOS-FRA line and the 346 for the convenience of skipping BOS and US? The IAD-FRA flight arrives only 1.5 hours later than FRA-BOS, but I still have to slog it out to IAD from downtown DC.
