! I think the RCC at PHX predates the US/HP merger, and they're in a different terminal anyway.

! Sometimes, if the airport's big enough, UA just slaps in an RCC. They've got them in several airports which aren't hubs for themselves or partners, like:

! MSP
! SNA
! MCO
! SAN
! PDX

A friend who does not fly much but knows my FT ways just emailed me that he reached Gold elite.....at Starbucks. Benes include:
  • Gold level card
  • Free drink every 15 stars
  • Free flavored syrup or soy milk
  • Free refills on brewed coffee/tea
  • Free tall beverage w/purchase of pound of beans

My reply? "Yawwwnnnnn"
