88 degrees in ym office, is too dern hot. AC needs repair something awful. I got to get this fixed ASAP.
I have 3 fans blowing right on me right now and it is bearable, but forbidden to venture to other parts of the office, where it is a saunalike 90ish. Good thing it isn't over 80 outside, it would be near 100 in here! |

Those of you organizing and attending the Tubing DO may want to check with the different tubing companies to make sure they are or will be open.
Word coming from Rockin' R is that damage is pretty bad (they were leveled) up and down the Comal and Guadalupe. |

And excellent sign. When the current employer of a part-timer or summer worker offers a full-time position, it is clear that he has been impressed by the work and usually is prepared for the new hire to stay for the long haul.
Congratulations and best hopes for much success. ^

Flooding is what I hear. I'm hoping the area will have time to recover over the course of the next month.

Update from River Sports Tubes:
Update: We will be closed for the remainder of today (Wednesday June 9th) to allow the muddy water to clear and to allow light debris to clear from our section of the Guadalupe River after last night's down pour. The worst of the Flooding took place down river from River Sports Tubes, so we were not affected at all. We will be OPEN tomorrow, Thursday June 10th and all weekend. To be clear, the Guadalupe River in Canyon Lake, TX. will be OPEN this coming weekend (June 10, 11, 12 & 13). The worst of the Flash Flooding took place in Gruene, TX and New Braunfels last night. Our prayers go out to those who lost loved ones and who lost their homes and/or businesses. Most, if not all Outfitters in Canyon Lake, TX. will be OPEN tomorrow and this coming weekend. For the latest updates, please check right here... we will post any new information as soon as we receive it. Thank you! |
