Some entertaining laughs on Twitter.

Is DL really giving SkyClub access in ORD to everyone flying to LGA on the new Shuttle product? It seems that way from their recent 3x MQM promo announcement. Since they don't in DCA it would be a bit surprising.

Still, I'm honestly stunned. Is that true for all airlines? FF points are transferable on death? There's a black comedy murder plot in this...

There seems to be a contractual nature of FF miles based on the responses I have gotten from the airlines that dad had flown (there are about 1 million miles amongst a number of programs). All programs have a plan for this, but you need to ask them before you disclose death...

ETA: The 25k miles will put me over 1 million lifetime AA miles and get me lifetime Gold. :-:

I need some help with this! Right now I am signed up to get GP points -- so, in order to take advantage of the AA promo, I would need to switch to AA miles w/Hyatt?

Theoretically one does the mileage switch at each hotel for each stay - in practice it seems to be easier to call GP Support and have a point-earning stay revised to a mileage-earning stay. Have to call Hyatt and register with the promotion code over in the Hyatt forum (and on the AA website). I'm using June stays to fulfill this promo as there are a paucity of active G bonuses.

Sounds about right. Reminds me of a post that totally escaped larger attention in the UA livery thread. Some poster dropped a Full Metal Jacket reference and put the airline in the role of the Vietnamese street hooker.

Flyer: "What do I get for 1K?"
Hooker: "Any-ting you want."

:D

Thanks for reminding me, I am back in it over there.

OK, so I just need to 'ask for miles' at check-in? That means you take the diamond amenity instead of points? I noticed that a bunch of G bonuses expired in May. However the Princeton Hyatt still has an active one!

Maximum yawnages. Cleaned the guest bathroom, kitchen, and started the laundry. The rest of it will be done tomorrow.

Night, Box.

This all depends on your stays upcoming, IMHO. I just calculated the anticipated points I would get, and it is much more valuable for me to get AA miles (25k miles gets you a free RT trip in 48). I happen to be really close to 1 million AA miles, and this will put me over the top before the end of the summer. ^

You can still get the Diamond 1,000 points despite getting airline miles. That said, we may want to accumulate wine this weekend ().

Back from the HS graduation pool festivities. It's amazing what some consider a bathing suit these days. I've seen more cloth on some Barbie outfits
