I also run VMware Fusion. Let me know if you have any questions. |
No shopping for me today.
Instead I headed for IAH after lunch with the family, and caught a flight to DAL. That turned out to be one of the most turbulent flights I've ever taken. Crossing a strong cold front in an ERJ at low altitude is not fun. This evening I've had dinner with a friend in Dallas and am now back at my hotel. Tomorrow I fly DFW-ORD-CLT-ATL on UA and US (only the last flight is US). The hotel tonight is the new aloft Las Colinas in Irving. This is my first aloft stay, and so far, I'm really liking it. It's got a great laid back, funky feel to it, and the room looks a lot nicer in person than it does in the pictures I've seen. I love the bathroom with the large walk-in shower. The lobby is really cool, with a great bar, pool table, computer work stations, and a decent selection of snacks and beverages in the re:fuel market area. My only complaint is the music in the lobby is a little too loud. When I checked in the guy working the desk was yelling because the music was so loud, and he could barely hear me. As a welcome gift I was given two packages of Premium M&Ms (raspberry almond and chocolate mint). I hadn't tried these before, but they are quite good. They'll be a nice snack to take along for my trips in the coming weeks. Overall I'm very pleased with aloft, and am looking forward to the stays I have coming up at the aloft Plano and this location again in a couple of weeks. Right now I'm booked for seven nights in alofts in December. |
good morning, Box !! ;)

We are off to Key West today! |
I'm driving back to SAN from PHX this morning. Hopefully it will take about two hours less than it did to get out here, since it will likely not be raining so hard I can't see in front of the hood, there will likely be no semi truck that jumped the k-rail median on a bridge, and there will likely be no land slides closing lanes of I-8.

Case of the mysterious vanishing airplane. Or, perhaps, can you see what's wrong with this picture?

I love it there, and really really really wanna go back. We are painting the bedroom. That's almost as exciting as an afternoon spent at Sloppy Joe's. Meh. Looks like there's going to be a Box micro-Do/Meet/Thing on one of the flights to IAH. :D |

I think Lurker1999 is, but remember him posting that he's taking a later flight. Would be fun to start the party early. Although that might involve heading to CRC, instead of the PC. We're STILL waiting for the liquor license - ever since the club re-opened in May :( |

And I ordered Dance Dance Revolution for my Wii. I am 12.:p |
My fiancee is looking at the screen and I am not under duress as I type the following: "Painting really isn't that horrible of an activity." There, I said it. Would I rather be in EYW? Hell yeah. But it doesn't suck.
I'm assuming that the annual Do/Thing/Meet website is going to get updated, and so in true holiday spirit I am donating my time...I'm making an FM page under the name CoDoIV. |

I hope I score an upgrade so I can catch a nap. |

Assuming that you are talking about www.ContinentalDO.com, yes, it will be updated soon. That is one of many domain names I own. :p
