I'm such a little Facebook b!tch today. I've let myself get into a political argument with someone I knew growing up with, and haven't talked to in almost 20 years. But she did provoke it, and then had the nerve to tell me she was praying for my "mistaken liberal soul" and that I would hopefully "overcome the mistakes I've made before it's too late." WTH?
She's misguided. Let her know she's in your prayers too :D |

Actually the cheese soup is only one of several soup varieties CO offers. I actually haven't had it in almost a year.
I did enjoy the melba toast in the LAS PC ^ |

+1 -- I'm aboard Amtrak on my way back from DC now. WHAT AN AMAZING DAY!!! Everyone on the Mall, in the Metro, on the area buses, etc. was so friendly and enthused. Everyone was talking to everyone else. That made the day even more special.

I booked a Hollywood Hip room (aprox 400 sq ft) and received a Resort Room with a Bellagio view (aprox 600 sq ft). They claimed that they were fully booked, so no suite for me....
The valet and parking situation is out of control at this property. I can't be bothered with their mess. It took about 15 minutes each time before I was able to valet the car when returning to the hotel. I am going to give the element a try next time. I still love staying at Mandalay Bay. It is the best place to stay I think. Hmmm, I'm hoping my stay in a couple of weeks will be a bit better. I've had about 30 emails with res because of a host of issues so no clue, but I at least hope that the room for my niece will be a suite (she's turning 21, but come to think of it, she probably won't be in the room much). I'll actually be sleeping in my room. |

I just went to BMW Welt and the BMW Museum in Munich today. I think I am going to pick one up after I return to the States . . . .
It is definitely worth a visit and if you pick the car up in Munich, you should do the factory tour, as well as the museum. |

I am willing to accept free travel to all corners of the globe in the interests of furthering research. Please be sure to line up a sufficiently large research grant. I like to travel up front. :D

She's the same one who on election night was on the verge of moving to Canada to escape "high taxes" and "socialist agendas." I told her to make that move and call me back in a month after she got her first paycheck and let me know what her taxes were. She never responded. |
I realized a minor flub in Obama's speech as I was reading it. He said that 44 people had held the office of President, which, due to Grover Cleveland's non-consecutive terms, makes the statement false. Only 43 people have held the office of President.

I'm also more convinced now that the benediction at the end was incredibly well delivered and well written. |

I'm also more convinced now that the benediction at the end was incredibly well delivered and well written. ... Help us then, now, Lord, to work for that day when nation shall not lift up sword against nation, when tanks will be beaten into tractors, when every man and every woman shall sit under his or her own vine and fig tree, and none shall be afraid; when justice will roll down like waters and righteousness as a mighty stream. Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get back, when brown can stick around -- when yellow will be mellow -- when the red man can get ahead, man -- and when white will embrace what is right. Let all those who do justice and love mercy say amen. |
