Is it just me, or are the Banner Ads on Continental.com (top right of main pages) advertising DEQM promo, OnePass Wireless, and other items loading exceedingly slowly and/or causing iexplorer browser to crash?

No, it's not you. I noticed it last week. When the videos all load CO gets back to normal speed.
Unfortunately, every time you go back to the main page you have to wait again

The subtotal here had better be a bug...
Upgrading one direction of a transcon and also using a credit from a canceled nonrefundable ticket:
Might be nice to report the subtotal as $223.00+$42.40 = $265.40, and not as $15,000.00. @:-) Apparently paying in miles and $$$ at the same time is too confusing.

I blocked that flash file (Ad Block Plus on FF3) and things sped up nicely. There is still some delay related to some client-side javascript loading up. If I had to guess I'd say that it is the stuff that does the airport selection type-down, but I don't know for sure. But blocking the flash does help a bit on the speed.

More Colombia Problems
When is this going to be fixed?
co.com continues to spell Colombia with a "u" in many places. I've posted this problem several times; but nobody at CO seems to care. Not good!
There's also now a new alert posted on boarding passes out of Bogota noting "You must pay" "Columbia" (spelled with a U, of course!) exit taxes.
Nice idea, except the note is wrong for my ticket and others issued in Colombia. The taxes (all of them) are already paid, so the note should not appear. The website should have some logic to look at the ticket and determine if the notice to pay taxes should be included or not.
Also, for the record, I hate the new junk that prints with the boarding passes.

OK, this is a bug. The ticket never confirmed, and apparently it's because you can't both upgrade with miles at booking and also use a travel credit to pay. You are supposed to ticket in coach using the credit and then upgrade after ticketing (and tough like if the R seat vanishes in the meantime). But co.com doesn't tell you this. So I had to call in to get the ticket processed, but that happened without the upgrade. I then had to call in; luckily the upgrade was still available. The phone agent says they get an informative error if they try to do this, but apparently co.com is not so bright.

Feature request
Seems there's no way to change the email contact info entered on an Award PNR. There really ought to be.
I "bought" an award ticket for my daughter. For booking I entered my info (email, etc.) - her name. There is no option to enter a OP # other than the one from which the miles come from. Now that it's booked, I tried to change the email address to be hers. No dice - there's no option online. I emailed co.com support, they informed me that there is no way to change the email address entered when the reservation is created.
In this case, I'd *like* any trip update emails to go to her, not me. In the broader sense, what happens if one's email changes after booking?
Seems that this ought to be something doable.
And if not, in the future, I'll book all my award tickets with a one-time address I'll create - then just forward as appropriate.

Yes - however it never occurred to me that I wouldn't be able to change it. I wanted the initial emails while I was holding the reservation for three days before booking. As besides, how about booking 330 days out and then having your address change?

New Suggestion
Booking an itinerary. Presently only possible to select a booking class for the entire trip. Change it to allow specific booking classes on a per-segment basis.
Example. I want to fly MAF-SYR, which actually results in MAF-IAH-EWR-SYR or MAF-IAH-CLE-SYR. The MAF-IAH segment is ERJ/CRJ, and same for EWR/CLE-SYR. IAH-EWR/CLE, conversely, I want to book in B class. Unless I book the entire trip in B class, even though there are (Q/K/etc) seats available on the ERJ/CRJ segments, I have to take "luck of the draw" on IAH-EWR/CLE on whether it will offer me B or K or Q or M or whatever.
Please make it so I can do per-segment booking classes.

In the future, if you are booking an award tkt for someone else, you can put their e-mail address in their info. & still look at it through 'my account' on your OP a/c since it's booked from your OP a/c.

i can't select a seat on a pretty open seatmap.. my outbound leg has no selectable seats, but the return has plenty. if i select a seat on the return, it fills in the pending, but when i select the other flight, or hit continue, the seat selection doesn't take. i've tried a few different seats, all of the plain white non-preferred variety...

News and Offers is messed up again. I see lots of offers I'm not eligible for.
I can't register for the new 50k LHR/MAN/EDI offer... well maybe I can, but the landing page show all about the offer... doesn't say that the registration was or was not successful. The offers page doesn't say that I'm registered.
