When viewing a multi segment trip such as EWR-IAH-MSY, in the Manage Reservations - View Current Reservation screen, only the first flight of each trip shows a seat assignment. Examples:

Round Trip
1. EWR-IAH
2. IAH-MSY
then a later date return
3. MSY-IAH
4. IAH-EWR

Only segments 1 and 3 show seat assignments.

One Way (return after outbound has been flown)
1. MSY-IAH
2. IAH-EWR

Only segments 1 shows seat assignment.

If you select view/change seat, all seat assignments show and then if you click Continue and return to the Manage Reservations - View Current Reservation screen, all seat assignments show.

Rez page not sorting by column heading

when selecting flights on the reservation screen I keep getting the anyone else having a problem sorting flights by "departing" or "price" or "arriving" or any column heading I get this message:

The website declined to show this webpage
HTTP 403
Most likely causes:
This website requires you to log in.

What you can try:
Go back to the previous page.

(And yes, I am logged in).

At the bottom of the screen in the search parameters if I chose one of the "Sort By Price" or "Schedule" radio buttons it will put them in the order I want.

Is anyone else having seat assignments disappear? It's happened to me twice on this recent 3-day trip. I went to OLCI for my flight home only to find that we had no seats.

I had the seat assignments for a June PHX-CLE flight disappear. No seat map is available. The flight number and time has not changed according to my intinerary. Is this the result of a planned change in equipment? The seats on my CLE-PHL segment still remain.

EDIT: I may have answered my own question. When I booked the flight the leg was on a 737-800, now if I try to purchase a new ticket it shows as a 737-900. Even then I cannot display a seat map for the PHX-CLE flight though.

The continental.com TripNotes e-mail has links under the section "Additional Trip Information." The link for "ESERVICE CENTER LOCATIONS" is invalid.

I purchased some tickets from co.com last night at about 10 PM eastern time. I did not receive the continental.com/"We are still processing your reservation..." e-mail that's generated as soon as you purchase, but I did receive the eTicket receipt for these tickets about 30 minutes later.

Then this afternoon at 2:15 PM eastern time, I received the "We are still processing your reservation... we'll send you an e-ticket receipt once our processing is complete..."

But I received the receipt over 12 hours ago...

Midnight Hold Feature Still Broken...

Just an FYI...if you use the 'cash' purchase option to hold you reservation, it will not be held until midnight the following day - these reservations are still being lost at random periods after booking, most often around 5PM CT the following day.

I thought this bug was suppose to be fixed eons ago - apparently it's still an open issue.

Fare class "I" on CM

It appears that the I fare class on a CO codeshare for a CM flight is Business class reward redemption. I can't find the description of that fare class on co.com, but trying to book a reward redemption IAH-LIM (including via PTY) in BF/F Saverpass seems to pull up this "I" fare class. The same "I" class on the IAH-PTY CO portion does elicit Intl Business Class and appropriate seating. Yet for the CM portion it consistently displays a notice like:

"There are no First/BusinessFirst/International Business Class seats available on CO9057 in the Lima, Peru (LIM) to Panama City, Panama (PTY) market."

Even a simple booking for Business Class SaverPass (20k miles E class) PTY-LIM shows availability for Business class on the Embraer 190s, but then the website gives inconsistent messages such as the above when I get further along in the booking process.

It seems that there is something wrong with the CM interface on Business Class reward travel.

Change flights still broken

Tried to change a flight today shortly after booked... "a technical error has occurred.. etc."

Of course, I got far enough along in the process to have some suggestions for whenever it's actually fixed...

I thought that it might be nice tollow selection (by button or check box) of a more detailed list of things one might want to change...
  • Individual flight segments
  • Date only
  • Fare Class
  • Routing (same start/end city pair)

For example, in my case I was trying to coordinate award + paid travel. it was difficult to get one of the flights to match (HA codeshare). I just wanted to change the HA segment to match the award itinerary I found.

One off-topic suggestion: provide a way to purchase identical itineraries on miles/paid... option could be offered on the purchase screen: purchase additional seats for miles/cash?

Exclamation Very Nasty Bug - lost an award reservation

So I thought I "purchased" an award reservation... today, I find it's totally gone. This was after spending quite some time coordinating a paid + award itinerary. The elite desk told me that it had expired and they couldn't reinstate or reassemble the flights (one was not available - on HA).

Co.com support was able to rearrange everything - including change one of the paid flights gratis. When it was all set up, I suggested that I try to purchase online (the award ticket) and see what screen I must have missed.

Lo and behold, same thing happens (I have screen shots). I get the confirmation - including my new mileage balance, BUT THE TICKETS ARE NOT PURCHASED - and are still pending expiration.

Got screenshots - emailed to the person I was on with at co.com support.

Issue seems to be that the payment selection method for taxes was missing from the purchase screen... so I didn't have anything to select and therefore just hit the, "I agree - Continue to Purchase" button.

Warning: Check in manage reservations to make sure you've purchased your award!

I can PM or email the details if needed.

It would also be really, really nice if I could be put back on the original (earlier) HA flights that I had held. I was told it's not possible.

When you click the tab "BusinessFirst On Sale Now" on the co.com homepage, the specials displayed are domestic only, none are international.

Tonight I changed an existing reservation. I moved the return segment of a round trip out one day. When I went to select my seats for the new flight, I was first asked to select a seat for the outbound flight, even though I had already done that when the original reservation was made. It showed no seat selected for the outbound flight. The seat I had previously selected was not selectable. I selected seats for both flights. I then was able to go back in and get back my original seat on the outbound flight through the normal View/Change Seats option.

The Kingfisher Lounge in Bangalore is listed as being in North America on the President's Club location list. Lounges in Copenhagen and Paris have also been trancontinentally relocated.

And last time I checked, a few days ago, there were still multiple appearances of "Columbia" on the website where it should read "Colombia".

Car rental reservations... odd (and broken) behavior...

1. Deselecting any of the companies listed for search doesn't have any effect.
2. Pricing isn't correct until selecting the onepass codes. Note: I can then put my own AWD (etc) codes in and they work properly, but not until AFTER I click the "yes" to co codes and leave it checked. Very weird.
