No to the first question. To the second I would guess, with some confidence, that so long as there is an extra amount of cash to pay on top, then yes you could use it for a booking for 2 people so long as you are one of the passengers. It may be more sticky if the total cost is less than the Expedia voucher.

You can get a voucher on part flown bookings but it would be an ftv. If your new flight would have been within ticket validity based on the original outbound, it can be priced up as a return journey. Otherwise would be priced as oneway.

I have a MAN-LHR-GVA return ticket. I have flown the outbound and am now in GVA.
If I submit a FTV request presumably I will get an offline FTV and would have to phone up to use it.
If I were to say then attempt to book a simple LHR-CDG return as an example with this FTV:
1 - new flights are inside ticket validity:
I would have to pay the difference between a MAN-LHR-GVA // LHR-CDG // CDG-LHR multi city itinerary and the original price paid.
2 - new flights are outside ticket validity:
Flown MAN-LHR-GVA is repriced as a one way, that cost is detected from the price paid for the original return and then the balance can be used towards the cost of the new journey.

What happens if I request a voucher for a return leg of an avios booking where companion voucher has been used after outbound has been flown? Will I get FTV? If so what can I book with it? Can it be any one way flight for the same 2 people with the discounted avios (and just pay the difference?) Or does it have to be the same route as the original return leg?

I cancelled a return from Barbados and booked a outbound to LAS paying the difference in pounds and points.

When I did the same I got back what was effectively half of a 241 as FTV. I was able to book a one way only for the same two passengers any routing to/from the UK paying the taxes and half the avios as normal.

Given that all the major UK entry and exit points are on their knees at the moment and the resulting chaos this is causing to thousands of people's travel plans, I am amazed that BA has not extended the travel window beyond 30th September.

Extra info not pertinent to your question. I booked another avios flight back from Barbados to Malaga via the UK in econony for a song and my flight back from LAS will be with Virgin on points. All in all I was really happy with the BWC option to chop and change and really hope BA keep it in some form or another moving forward...

Question for the experts. While I know you can no longer FTV a 2 for 1 avios booking as that would be refunded, can you do a date change beyond the expiry date of the voucher? So as an example, if the 2 for 1 voucher expires in December 22, can I book the outbound on a date before 30 Sep 2022 and then change the departure date to March 2023?

BWC is still online and visible on BA.com so I see no change at this point. I don't know if that message related to the disruption dispensation from last week, which allowed people to move to other flights without a re-fare.

Edit: I've scrolled all the way down and there's this in the T&Cs at the very end
