This thread gives the current catering options for the LHR T5 Concorde Room (all day) and First Dining Room within the LHR T3 Galleries First lounge (after 18:30). Eligible passengers include BA First ticket holders, Premier and Concorde Room cardholders. The catering in both lounges is supplied by BaxterStorey, who took over the contract on 2 May 2013.

The current catering options in the LHR CCR can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. In addition, there are a selection of bar snacks available, details found in post 8 or you can click here.

There are also photo guides (updated with December menus) which you can see in the following linked posts:

thank you for the photos, even the more abstract ones! I shall update the photo guides.

the new dishes are the chacuterie, noodles, tortelloni, chocolate & blackcurrant dome on the main menu. also on the lounge menu the falafel is new, and I don;t have a photo of the panzanella salad yet.

So both starters contain blue cheese and there's no other option except soup? That seems like a crazy thing to do. I can't be the only person to detest blue cheese.

Totally agree. The starter selection is poor and the mains are clearly pretty cheap in terms of ingredient costs.

You might politely describe BA as slightly obsessed with serving a healthy amount of peasant food in the CCR and First because it's cheap (not wishing to re-ignite the whole peasant-gate thing!).

What on earth has happened to cooked appetisers? It all seems to just be dressed up portions of canapés, and cold meats and fish these days.

In the few years I've been regularly visiting the space, warm apps tend to be a winter thing - I suspect we will see a return of things like the scallop and the mushroom and chestnut puree tart in due course. For the occasional visitor I usually tell them to pick pasta first, then the meat or fish course to follow. No law against that. Granted, if you're there three or four times a month this will get a bit old; to be fair the whole menu is short and would get a bit boring with repeated visits.

This is not to say that some of the points are not valid, particularly in regards to the pretty poor appetizer lineup this month. Cuts as an appetizer is really not good, just plain lazy. Not expecting roast bone marrow and parsley salad (to stick to the "basic food" theme), but BA can surely do better than this.

The charcuterie plate was tasty, the udon noodles was weird (not in a good way) and the black currant dome was very very choclatey!

no i don't do a photo guide for the breakfast menu. tbh i think it is because the items on the breakfast menu are relatively well known and there is much more scope to mix and match. i may look at doing something in the future tho if i get the time. the breakfast menu itself is in post 1 tho - i think it is a few years since it last changed.
