taking the 773 as a comparison between BA and CX would indicate 24% more room per seat on CX (and it feels even more in my opinion)

Should they decide to roll this (or a slightly amended version) out further, I'd guess a reasonably high-capacity Mixed Fleet route or two would be high on their list, in order to increase the capacity of that fleet to deliver on the new service. Perhaps ORD, JNB, SIN/SYD or they could even give a bit of love to YYZ after the lounge closure there. Just conjecture, however.

Great news that the new bedding is rolling out to EWR and BOS over the next week. I'd guess this will move significantly faster than the catering.

Thanks for the update.

It still seems incredible that this is being rolled out so slowly, and in piecemeal fashion, and favouring the short TATL sectors instead of the more substantial (9-12 hour) ones. Do you have any clues as to why this seems to be so difficult to implement fleet-wide?

I suppose at this pace it will reach LGW by 2020?

a very good point - why not the longer premium routes? Each set will deliver more bang for its buck that way.

With an 11h45m night sector from LGW next Saturday, the new bedding would have been appreciated. I don't quite understand why BA feels it necessary to start by equipping the shorter TATL routes ... unless they're pandering to the US market.

What's the bet the last one for it to turn up would be SYD, partially due to difficulties with the two-leg structure.

You still can't even pre order a meal for the LHR-SIN bit to SYD... So you might be right.

Surely they’d load them into the hold and bring them up at SIN ?

Fingers crossed for LAS end of this month, but not expecting it

Is it really incredible that BA is dragging its feet, I mean this must cost at least £2 per passenger!

They often had issues with pyjama size availability so it might not be that simple.
