On the mixing of drinks, yer man Lucky, on OneMileAtATime dissed BA on his LAX-LHR because the cabin crew member just handed him a glass, then his tonic, then his gin.

So, some people do like to be handed a prepared drink. On this thread, some people have said they prefer to mix their own. I can see both sides.

That said, drinkers are normally unhappy if the giver of drinks seems to be scrimping!

thats good news ! Some time ago I read here that you guys will offer to make the bed up like in F. Is that still the case or was that some wishful thinking by a post that I read some months ago?

Apologies in advance if already answered elsewhere.

EDIT : btw, will you be leaving a chocolate on bed once made up

Sorry it’s a no and a no.
It was never planned that we make up beds, just wishful thinking by some and currently you don’t get any chocolates with the new CW service.

Having flown on QR more this year I have to say the extra bedding in J makes all the difference. Luckily they do make your bed for you .

Your enquiry related to MIA. Will happily stand corrected - but given the current tortoise pace of rollout, would be truly amazed if new CW food is seen on leisure routes by February (assuming you mean 2018, that is )

Yes it is MIA in Fab 2018 I did fear that as leisure route it would be later in the roll out. Oh well I can live in hope. Not far off another 2-4-1 voucher so will have to work out where to spend that.

I a having my arm twisted to go to Australia on Feb 2019 but obviously 2-4-1 next to useless on that route due to availability so might have to put in a NYC trip sometime.

It's for a different thread of course, but just a brief word to say that I'm sure there are success stories of using 2-4-1 for travel to Oz. Others with the necessary experience will perhaps chime in with some tips - although perhaps you've already done your own research, only to draw a blank .. (I'm a regular Downunder visitor myself, but BA are well down my list of options for the route)
