Club Europe Catering Guide 2017.
This thread outlines the new arrangements for Club Europe catering, introduced on Sunday 26 March 2017 and due to end on Tuesday 11 September 2018, based on 3 zones. A new Club Europe catering product is due to be launch on Wednesday 12 September 2018, and this is based on 4 bands. The main information piece - in terms of timings and the distance zones for the meals can be found in post 1. The following cross references the photos below against the matrix of options. In addition to the photos, some FTers have written extensively on their experiences so there is more to this thread than the pictures. Also note that there was an increase in food offered on some combinations shortly after the start-up, so the more recent photos may be the best place to start. The previous shorthaul catering guide, now locked but which had the previous 4 band system, is to be found here.
Numbers relate to the post number. Vegetarian means the alternative option provided as standard rather than the pre-ordered versions - which are VLML (Lacto-ovo), AVML (Asia) and VGML (Vegan) . There are differences between the offering in/out of LHR, LGW, LCY+STN. Last update: 833
-------------------------
Note posts before 1-832 are typically the April 2017 menu. 833 and above is from the menu for May 2017.

I had the Band 1 afternoon tea outbound from LGW to AMS last week, and dinner on the way back. I knew better than to be excited about the afternoon tea, but it really was terrible--half a slice of supermarket ham, one piece of lettuce, a baby cherry tomato, a wedge of cheddar, chutney, butter, half a sausage roll (not a scotch egg), and a squished piece of white bread. The cheese was the best part; I couldn't handle more than a bite of the sausage roll. At least the Victoria sponge was tasty, though I demolished it in two bites. I know it's a short flight, but I was in row 3 and we weren't served until about 20 minutes left in the flight.

“Afternoon tea” was served on LHR-FRA this afternoon, but was also offered Ploughman’s (but I don’t like Scotch Eggs and Saussage Rolls).

Is there a list of summer rotations?
Flying LGW-PFO at the end of May and curious as to what might be on offer.

I had the ploughman’s yesterday (LHR-EDI) and greeted by name (for the first time ever in club Europe!) - very tasty and great service with drinks regularly topped up!

Flew on the 7am LHR-Copenhagen this week - was surprised to see them offering pre-departure champagne or water. Not only have I not seen this before on a Club Europe flight, but thought it was especially strange to be offering champagne given the time and the fact the cabin was almost entirely business travelers. Is this new or did the crew go an extra step?

Some people just enjoy making life difficult for others, I’m not saying that pre takeoff drinks wouldn’t be nice.

OSL-LHR BA767 yesterday: Choice of mozzarella/tomato/basil salad + bread roll, or a warm chicken caesar panini. Both of us got our first choices (row 4, after which they'd run out of paninis despite a lot of passengers ordering the salad) and enjoyed them. Dessert was a kind of chocolate mousse cake, very nice.
Two drinks runs, doubles offered on both runs. Nuts available (almonds).
Crew looked really rushed on a 7 or 8 row business load (a noticeable contrast after transferring from a calm, well-stocked QR flight) but were chatty and cheerful.
