Got the lounge to print me off a boarding pass and I am now in CW. 2 for 2 today and that's probably it now
The app seems pretty useless if it doesn't actually update properly.
Anyway, a few empty seats down here so may shift to a better window one.

Learned a lesson yesterday. Always look at your boarding card if they give you a new one. Yesterday while boarding my ET flight in 12F from OSL to LHR I scanned my mobile boarding card as I always do. The gate lady said "I am giving you a paper BC". I thought it was i little odd, but didn't even think it might be an upgrade, so didn't even look at it. It wasn't until after the flight I took a closer look just to see it said 5D, instead of 12F, lol. I noticed there were 8 rows of CE so I just assumed it was a busy flight in front of the curtain, and it didn't cross my mind that the paper boarding card she gave me wcould be an upgrade. And even more odd that she didn't say"Congratulations sir, you have been upgraded", instead of "I'm giving you a paper card".
Now I also noticed that the flight hasn't been credited to my account yet, so I am thinking maybe it has been recorded as a no show?

Had a WTP->CW on today's BA275 to LAS - noticed that on MMB my seat had changed to a CW seat but class still showed WTP. I was hopeful and queried it in the lounge who confirmed and printed me a new BP.
Great flight - good crew and managed a solid 5 hours sleep, a very welcome start to the trip!

I'd POUG'd from Y to J for tomorrow's BA217. I was stuck with a middle seat but at some point in the early hours of this morning I've been op-up'd to J. I've been in CE before, and Business on a few other carriers, but this is my first BA J.

ET > CE last week.
It was my first flight on BA since becoming Gold and towards the end of boarding, CSM came to congratulate/thank me and invited me up front.
Even though it was a loss of legroom [from EER to row 3], I appreciated the gesture.
Apparently, this was supposed to be mentioned during my check in [just about reaching Gold, not upgrade], but the lady in First area was a bit confused and flustered [admittedly it was 5am], so she didn't do it.

ET > CE on LHR to EDI on 0915 on Saturday, for both my wife and me. A very full flight, I am bronze and she is blue and were both travelling on an Avios ticket so were fairly surprised to hear the magic beep...
The veggie omelette for breakfast was surprisingly passable too.

Interesting one today - about to board my flight from BCN. 3 hours ago I had an ET - CE upgrade on the app (my seat moved forward). Now I appear to be back on the app in my original seat... never seen this one before ... and it's the classic exit row vs non-row-1 CE dilemma so I don't mind either way how it pans out

Got to LHR today to find my first ever (for a new corporate TA) booking had been upped from ET to CE. Given my BAEC number wasn’t even in the booking yet, I guess this can’t be status/CIV related, and I couldn’t get the booking reference to work in the app at all, so no early OLCI for me.... I’m both astonished and happy.
