BOS-LHR last weekend. Found out when phone app indicated seat change about 4 hours before departure. Party of 2, from CW to F. Avios booking, using GUFT and Amex 2-4-1. I am GGL and 'er indoors is Gold (thanks to my GGL).
Could have been worse!

LHR-ZRH on Sunday, at the gate. Was none too happy initially, having been taken out of the exit row and placed in row 7, thankfully they still had 1D open.

Remarkably they even managed to have a meal for me, if you can call it that...

I'm curious to know was your AA EXP card in the booking or your BA gold?

Upgraded from PE to J from LAX to HKG with CX last week. Every selling class was showing a big fat zero on ExpertFlyer so I was very hopeful of an upgrade and both my g/f and I were very pleased to see a much lower seat number when our boarding passes were printed out at LAS before flying on to LAX to connect to the long haul flight!

It was my BAEC, first upgrade I've had since joining in January. In 4 years I never had an upgrade on BA using my AA FF.

Suspect it was also helped though by the fact I was on a full-fare (B) ticket.

Thumbs up

CW to F on LHR - SAN this Saturday. (Paid CW out, paid First back SAN-PHX-LHR)

No notification in the app / email, just noticed my seat had changed from 16K to 1A.

Possibly due to being caught up in the disruption back in May (27hr delay out to Haneda) but could also be load levels - there is a large Biotech conference out in San Diego next week, so I imagine it will be fairly rammed.

Either way, a happy man!

strange, I noticed an upgrade for tomorrow's flight at about T-30 hours and EF is showing the flight as

J9 C9 D9 R9 I0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M6 L0 V0 N0 Q0 O0 S9 G9

This is my first flight since the IT issue which impacted me - do we think this is a gesture of good-will or so (and has it gone 'wasted' on a shorthaul flight?)? seems bizarre to be doing OpUps that far in advance on a flight that has S9, G9 and M6......

Rammed full LHR-IBZ today bumped up to CE from the exit row 9, RFS ticket too. Mrs Our_Kid not so lucky but she wanted the window rather than my CE aisle.

MF crew worked exceptionally hard on the flight - 7 full rows of CE.

Upgraded from ET to CE on LHR-FRA yesterday, discovered when I refreshed the Home screen on the BA App in the lounge.

Magic beep yesterday evening in ALC returning to LGW (Well in reality it was just big confusion why there was a problem and after a couple of minutes both staff realising we got upgraded).
Me and Mrs got into CE from further back. We were somehow impacted by the IT outage too (and still waiting for the extension after the email)
