2015 POUG rate tracker
Please add your own successful results to the follow list including the month/year when the POUG was offered to you.
POUGs are offered via BA.com and the App Manage My Booking via a distinctive banner. You cannot get a POUG by telephoning, however the service centres can complete a POUG which falls over mid transaction. They are offered on cash and Avios redemptions but typically not on complex routings, BA Holidays or travel agency bookings until OLCI stage. POUGs on Avios redemptions won't get you additional TPs/Avios, but they will on revenue tickets.

Short haul routes from LON to/from Europe
A price in pounds indicates a ticket issued from London, other currencies indicate prices for tickets issued overseas (e.g. singles or returns originating from CDG priced in Euros). Multiple prices indicate a range of fares are on offer. Note that LCY prices currently seem to be on a different basis to LGW and LHR (cheaper, in other words).

Certainly looks like BA is doing rather well out of POUG, unless the price it's offering me is higher because I've got 'Gold' mug written all-over my forehead?

PS would someone kindly update FRA to £105 in the list above? Thx
The price has gone up for everyone. J demand is much higher than it was in 2013, so the price has gone up.

I have a flight coming up soon and have been offered £210.

I'm currently in the exit seat which are the same seats as the ones upfront (on the 767 windows). I get lounge access and speedy boarding anyway.

BA is officially off its trolley.
This return flight is now showing a POUG price of £623.50.

To make a fresh CE booking on this same return flight today would cost £606.81.

GOT-LHR for SEK 1050 (approx £89) for travel in March.

Better than the £120/130 I've been offered for other SH sectors recently, also having the "is it worth it for 30TP" internal debate.

It's going up and down. BA apparently upgraded to more sophisticated system.

£599 WTP-CW LHR to SFO for June 2015. The POUG is being offered as a limited special offer. It might be, but that doesn't make it a good offer. The price I paid for WTP out, CW back is the same now as it was when I booked it a few weeks ago on BA.com. This POUG offer would take the total price to more than the total ticket price would be if I'd originally booked CW both ways. The cheaper, non-POUG round trip in CW is still available today. My idea of a "limited special offer" is one where the ticket would be cheaper than the price at which it is normally available. I've been wanting to try WTP on the A380 for a while, so I'll hang on to the £599 and make a note to continue to regard BA's special offers with a certain amount of scepticism.

Does anyone know how long it takes POUs to appear these days?

Is it 48 hours from booking, or two midnights, or something else?
