IIRC, that's broadly about the same number as when it was simply the BA/QF J lounge.

The same place where BA J pax will go (there is no longer an F lounge, so BA J pax will be displaced during the renovation too). I guess all pax will use the QF lounge.

Thanks. I'm easilly confused by the new QF tie up and its lounge repercussions.

When the BA lounge reopens can BA F pax choose between the QF or BA lounges or will QF deny access. I like the look of the new hawker food section in the new QF lounge.

They could always play the "capacity" card, just as CX did at its F lounge in LHR T3 for a while. But that was genuinely smaller.

There will essentially be two business class lounges:

Qantas Singapore Lounge (the former BA/QF Business lounge)
British Airways Galleries Lounge (the former BA/QF First lounge)

Any oneworld first or business class passenger or Emerald or Sapphire member could access either lounge.

With the A380's now flying via DXB & the soon axing of a 747 to FRA the load from QF will be the lightest it's been for many a year.

The place will mainly be full of BA & probably EK passengers......nice little earner for QF.

Ill be a gold status member flying F back on BA in October....will my options be A) BA lounge - in the unlikely event that they refurb it in 1 month or B) the Qantas lounge - will this still be One World? or C) The Cathay Lounge?

What would people recommend?

All three are open to you (provided that the BA lounge has re-opened post-refurbishment, of course).

Qantas is not leaving oneworld just because it's partnered with Emirates.

At Changi this Sunday (heading to BOM). Might head there a bit earlier to have time to check the new lounge. Looks very nice from pics!

CX uses shared lounge called SkyView. Personally really dislike it.
