I made a purchase last week for a GC which totalled to about 48.26 after the non membership fee. I was fine with it since I was going to split the charge across two cards. The mistake I did was split it as 20$ on my BlueSky and the rest 28.26 on my PRG. But the strange thing is that when the order got shipped the total order amount dropped to 47.66 as they excluded the sales tax from the initial amount which was 0.60 and this amount was reduced from my BlueSky making it 19.40$ on BlueSky and 28.26 PRG. Previously I got the Congrats you have used the AMEX offer email but the credit did not get posted still which is more than a week later. I got my credit on PRG two days later. Anyone else face this strange issue. Is there anything I can do now other than placing a new separate order for 20$?

The activation issue continues
Received the remaining 2 $45 Gift of Membership cards today.
One is activated within 20 min. The other one remains stuck in the process.
Instead of waiting like 2 weeks ago with the problematic $50 card, I called after 2 hours the activation was still pending.
Rep said she saw the card was "activated but not activated" - meaning it has not successfully completed the activation process. She acknowledged they have had some issues lately and proceeded to open a ticket.
If WalMart/Sam's want to win some new customers thru this promo, then they failed miserably - they demonstrate to the potential customers that the management is incompetent and would not give a damn in customer service.

Amex Sync Offers
If anyone still has their Sam's club sync offer but no Sam's membership and don't want to pay the surcharge, zulily.com has Sam's memberships for $45. Comes with a $20-25 gc and some other goodies depending on the package you pick. So its pretty close to a net zero cost and you get a 1yr membership.

Get a $30 statement credit each time you use your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $100 or more in-store at Target or Walmart by 7/31/2015. Limit 5 statement credits. See terms for exclusions.
Pretty sweet deal! And the exclusions are not too burdensome, either:
Valid in-store only. Valid at any participating location in the US. Target exclusions: Vision Optometry & Clinics. Walmart exclusions: Site to Store (in-store pick up service); Vision Optometry; Coinstar; Clinic; Tax Services; Cafes & Coffee Shops; Beauty/Salon/Hair Cuts; On site restaurants/Dining; On site Gas; 3rd party telecom provider services.

Anyone have any tips for maximizing the Google Play offer? I tried purchasing $5.00 of Google Play credit, but it did not trigger the offer. I would mostly want to spend the credit on <$5.00 things, so I'm not sure how to best use it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Couple weeks ago (i.e., couple weeks after Google Play offer came up), Amex changed some coding for Google Play credits, and now buying $5 credits triggers amex offers. I just did couple 2 days ago.

Spend $100 get $30 back at BJ's
This was on one of my cards today, no Twitter tag that I know of.
Spend $100 in person at BJ's and get $30 statement credit, up to three times.
The list of exclusions is what you'd expect: none of the third party vendors onsite are covered (Verizon, vacation and travel, etc).
Pretty good deal.
