It's likely in reference to the Amex Checkout promotion:

That's what I assume. I made use of the offer through Newegg, but didn't see any beneficial way to use it on Ticketmaster. Would have been nice to get a heads up before the loophole was closed.

I don't generally stay at Hilton's so maybe I'm just not aware of all its properties, but it seems like it would have been easier for the fine print to state the brands that ARE included in the offer, instead of the 10(!) brands that are excluded...

Are the sync offers tied to the card or account? If I sign up for an offer and switch to a different card (e.g., Platinum), would I still retain the offer?

They're attached to whatever card you accepted the offer on. It's usually possible to add the same offer to multiple cards, if it's offered on each and you add both at the same time.

I have the offer: "...$50 statement credit by using your enrolled Card ending in XXXXX to spend a total of $300 or more on purchases made directly with any airline by 9/15/15."

Does the $300 all need to be spent at the same time? All with the same airline? Can I spend $200 with one airline and $100 with another? Can I spend $300 with 2 different airlines and get the $50 credit 2X?

I hit the gift cards hard at Wal-Mart last Friday with my Amex Plat. Went in and bought $500 in gift cards in 5 $100 transaction. Ten minutes later I am out the door and by the time I got to my car I had 5 Amex emails. On Monday I Had 5 $30 credit.

Got $250 in gift cards at Staples on Saturday on my Delta Business and had the $75 credit hit today. Still have 4 more times to use on that one. Looking at a new grill from Home Depot as I can also get credit there

Just saw on my Amex Plat I have spend $100 get $30 3 times at BJs Wholesale club which I have membership too. That's double discounted gift cards.

I bought 2 boxes of protein bars to take advantage of the $15 credit for $50 from Puritans Pride, but it came out to $49.98. What are the chances that I call and convince them to give me the credit, or should I just buy something else from the site?

Their system is very straight-forward: your transaction MUST meet the minimum transaction amount. (Transaction amount can be inclusiive of tax, tip, shipping, fees, etc - just as long as the final charge amount to AMEX is greater than or equal to the amount listed in the Sync offer.)

Wouldn't another $50+ purchase be necessary? It's not cumulative charges that equates to $50, is it?

That's my understanding. A single purchase must be in excess of the target amount.
