I bought 3 $100 GC ($104.99) at BJ's in a row with an Amex card, received $30 credit each the next day. I'll do the same with another Amex card soon.

I signed up for the $30 off $100+ at Target/Walmart offer on one card. Bought 5 $100 GC ($106) at Target in a row, received $30 credit for each the next day.

I signed up for the $25 off $250+ at Best Buy offer on 4 of my Amex cards. I purchased $1000+ laptop exactly 29 days ago. I went to the customer service desk at Best Buy, explained to them my desire to return the laptop and to repurchase with different credit card. She just have to make sure it's still within the 30 days return policy as elite members have 30 days otherwise only 14 days for non-elite. FWIW I didn't have the actual laptop, just the receipt. I put $250 charge on each Amex card and received $25 credit the next day.

Easy way to make $340 during my lunch break. ($295 after the gift card fees). Still have another Amex card for the BJ's 3x$30 credit deals.

Gawd I love Amex!

I assume that means that I will lose the 30 dollar credit. However, does that mean if I do the transaction again that it will count and I will get reinstated for the 30 dollar credit?
Has this happened to anyone?

Similar experience purchasing gift cards.

Purchased a $100 gift card that for some reason did not go through. Amex refunded the price of the gift card. I also received the $100 airline incidentals credit - and it was never taken back.

Walmart offer?

With the spend 79 get 15 off can I buy Visa Gift cards? Has anyone done this? It looks like just the Walmart gift cards are excluded. Thanks for any help.

WRT the airline deal....if I purchase 2 seats together under one itinerary, I seem to recall that AA still charges the per ticket amount separately even if the receipt shows an itinerary total. Anyone remember? Guessing this wouldn't trigger either per your note above...

Ordered $200 VGC online which was delivered yesterday. Already showing $15 credit under recent history.

I did, though I don't shop at Saks so it is wasted on me.

It's also valid at http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/ and (it appears) that if you visit the site for the first time (or in an Incognito or Private browser window) you will receive a 10% discount code which might be stackable with this offer.

So I've reviewed every post in this thread containing this term but I'm not seeing a clear answer regarding the term "per American Express online account."

Does this mean that, even if the offer appears on two of my cards and I add it to be simultaneously, I will only receive the first credit because both primary cards are associated with the same Amex website login?

That would be my understanding, but it appears I would be wrong. See here:

Can anyone confirm if the walmart gift cards are actually excluded? It says no on corporate gift cards, but I'm wondering if that is something else and if they even care anyway. Curious if anyone has received the credit on an actual wmgc.

I bought 2 $40 WM GC and got the $15 credit. The cards haven't come in the Mail yet, but I got the credit.
