My wine habit makes this a no brainer to make 5 separate trips to Total Wine before 8.14.15.

That's a very nice $375 off coupon for something I would purchase without the coupon (maybe not before 8.14 however).
I guess I didn't need to make separate trips to Total Wine. Went last night and rang up three separate transactions, each over $250 and received 3 emails almost instantaneously saying "Congrats! You just used your Amex Offer".

Back to Total Wine today for the last two purchases.

Never received this offer, what's the easiest way to request AMEX add it? I've heard of using Twitter but not sure if online messaging with a CSR would work.

Not sure. It was offered through my Business Platinum card (OPEN), and not available on any of my other AMEX cards.

It's fixed, added the offer to my card this morning.

What is a "corporate gift card"? Is it a card issued by a company, such as Starbucks or Southwest? I see that Walmart disallows the $15 rebate on $79 online purchase if used for corporate gift cards.

I think it refers to purchases made through this link:

Amex Offers and Refunds

Hey guys,

I had an issue with my transaction on the 30 off 100 deal at Walmart and they ended up refunding me the whole transaction.

I assume that means that I will lose the 30 dollar credit. However, does that mean if I do the transaction again that it will count and I will get reinstated for the 30 dollar credit?

Don't do it.

I started with a 60 bottle cooler years ago. Then a Le Cache credenza, followed by a custom built hutch, off-site storage, converted the linen closet into a cellar before finally adding on an addition to the house to facilitate a full walk in, entertainment style, wine cellar.

Stick with liquor or beer.

Im curious. Does anyone know how these deals work on the business' end of things with Amex?

Amex provides the specific credit to the account of the cardholder, but does the specific business reimburse Amex when a deal is selected and then used?

Or do you think they partner up and split the difference?

I believe:

Merchant-specific bonuses are funded by the merchant.

Category-specific bonuses (e.g. supermarkets) are funded by American Express.

$10 back on Amex gift cards

It's 27 July as I write this ... offer expires 31 July, and there is nebulous shipping date language in T&C ... anyone with previous last minute experience with offers and Amex gift cards, i.e., have I already cut it too close?
